Decided to stay here instead of camping out and what a mistake!! A tent would have been much better!! The continental breakfast was a joke, the rooms were very old, hasn't had any updates to them since the hotel was build 50 years ago.The are fire waiting to happen!! The toilets would over flow, the bathtub stopped up and NO hot water to take showers!! Will never stay here again!!
Advertised continental breakfast is not much to eat. Consisted of a half box of days old cold doughnuts from the fridg, a half gallon container that had enough for two glasses of OJ and an apple. Lets divide this up among all the people staying there and what do you get? We had two rooms, toilet was overflowing from tank to the floor, water backed up in shower. Cold water most of the time. Breaker tripped when using blow dryer. Stench of cigarette smoke in the halls. Rooms were not very clean and WiFi not worth a darn - slow connection when able to connect.
I recently stayed at the Ben's Nichols Brook Motel while doing business in the area. I found the staff- housekeeping and front desk- to be a pleasure to deal with! The cleaning woman that worked most days was hard working and diligent. I was very impressed with her obvious dedication to her job. The young lady that worked nights at the front desk was also most helpful. Offered information on places to eat in the area and was just generally very pleasant and courteous.
If I am ever in the area again I will definently be returning here. Highly recommend!
We picked this motel to stay at as it was close to the wind farm (Where we were working at the time) and it was the only place that offered WiFi. The WiFi was not working when I got there, so I fixed it for the owners. There were a lot of illegal aliens staying at the hotel. I spent the first three days there not having my room cleaned until the owner arrived. The continental breakfast doesnt start until 8 a.m. (unless they overslept, which apparently happened a few times, then who knows when they open the lobby) so if youre living here and have to work at 7 a.m. you can forget a morning cup of coffee. One night, I was awakened to the sound of a screaming infant and to a child running up and down the hallway yelling. I opened the door and to my surprise there was quite a gathering of loud people in the lobby. The lady working nights was holding a screaming infant and talking as loud as she could muster. While it is economical, the staff (sans the owner) have no consideration for your comfort or privacy. I guess you get what you pay for. Next time I'll stay in Buffalo and drive the 45 minutes to work
