Joslen Motor Lodge, Hudson

i checked about this motor lodge online and peoples comments kinda scared me, i thought to my self why not give it a whirl... as i approached to the hotel it relatively look pretty nice, when entering the lobby like the set up it was small but nice. service was out standing and the room where very cleaning. i personally think its the best in hudson!!!! will be back next year

What a dump! I cut my foot on broken glass on the carpet, THE tv was limited to 3 or 4 channels none were locat stations, no weather or news. No breakfest or coffee pote as advertised. all you get is a somewat clean bed and a shower that workes sometimes. Never going back.

Rooms were not ready, staff lied and sayed they were waiting for people to leave, parking lot was empty. We came back 2 hours later and were told the same thing, we waited in the parking lot and no one left, yet they came out and started cleaning rooms after giving us keys to 2 they said were ready. We opened the door to one room, #6, and the beds were stacke on top of each other and paint was all over as it was in the process of remodeling. They cleaned another room for us and we got checked in. Bring slippers as carpet is FILTHY. Shower valve was stuck so half the water went straight down the spicket and the tub backed up during the shower. Stood in about 1.5" of water. Bath towels were hard and very scratchy. We cancelled the balance of our stay and booked a Hampton Inn room in Kingston. An hour away but worth it. Will never go back!

Extremely cheap and affordable...from what i understand new management have done wonders...clean rooms...friendly service...spacious and comfortable...will definitely recommend

The place was good. Spacious rooms, clean. I was there this past weekend and I had a good time. Definitely stay here if you are in the neighborhood.

I personally thought this place was really nice... It has a homely feeling to it and the people were great to deal with, very polite and helpful... Anytime I'm back in that area, this is the place I'd be staying in...

Guests appeared to be of a semi-permanent unsavory type. Did not feel safe. Swallowed loss of one night rate and went to another hotel. Later reports from locals confirmed my initial impression. Will not go back, will not recommend.
