Presidential Inn, Lyons

My husbund and I have been going to this motel for several years as a place to get away.an we have very few complaints true the decor could use some fixing up but all in all we love this place the people who work there have been very nice and helpful. we feel that the price is just right you get what you pay for and anyone with a brain can tell from just looking at the sign that says they have houly rates that it is no place to bring your kids. This is a great motel for two adults to have some fun in.

The only thing we like about it is the owner. He freindly and knows his customers and treats them well. The other guy that works the desk has the personality of a turd in a punch bowel. He is rude and uncaring. The rugs are filty and the chairs are filty. I will not return mainley due to the very poor attitude of that turd in the office.

I found a bag with a crack pipe n brillo pad inside it behind the wooden tv cabinet. lol room with the hot tub had broken lose tiles that could cut u bad. its just a motel u can plow a chick for a few hours cheaply

Dirty room, pulled the can of disinfectant spray out of my car and used it. When I turned on the TV which had no remote porn channel came up.. Almost no selection on the TV. No previsions for internet. Was going to stay for 2 nights left after the first. As a positive the few things I asked for they took care off quickly and without complaint.

This is the kind of motel that gives motels a bad name. We got a room with a hole in the bottom of the door, making it easier to hear inside and outside. the cleaning lady must have bought her kids to work because they were running up and down the parking lot right by our door. There are stains on the chairs. There were holes in the curtain. There's little to no water pressure in the shower. And on top of that our key didn't work. The list goes on. I was slightly amused that they had an HD tube tv but they're lacking even a few of the basic channels. Really all it is is a really expensive way to watch 2 naughty channels and showtime and HBO. Bottom Line: If all you're looking for is a place to crash, few motels are cheaper. But I wouldn't recommend it for much else.

I like the private seclusiveness of the presidential Inn. The rooms use to be very nice, but lately the furniture is raggedy. The bathroom shower was filled with hair. It was not clean at all. The rugs were nasty and it made me wonder what happened. This is the same place that I spent my honeymoon. I have continued to visit for the past nine years but, now I am searching for some place new. The cost of the rooms has increased but the quality has decreased, the quality is poor.

the room are very dity and horribley small, the hottub room had dirty walls and the tile were scummy, but what can u do and for the $160 we spent on that room we made it fun..wink wink

I love the big beds and comfortable pillows. its a quiet place and there are lots of movie stations to chose from, i love this hotel.
