Farmstead Inn & Conference Center, Shipshewana

We liked the friendliness of the staff, the very clean room, the generous breakfast choices, Very quiet, inside and outside, easy access in and out.. Well-groomed and landscaped to near perfection. Have already recommended it to others, family and friends. We needed 'unhurried, away, quiet-time' and found it at Farmstead. Plan return trip at some point in future. Considering all, charges were very fair. Would appreciate knowing that every room had small refrigerator. Microwave? - Not needed.

The hotel room bathroom floor was dirty in the tile was black seams, the beds were very stiff and uncomfortable, and the television programming was very minute,lots of news not much else, the breakfast was great lots to choose from.

The hotel was very nice, clean, the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was very nice. It was close to stores, easy to walk to. A refrigerator would have been nice.

i grew up less than a 1/2 away from this hotel. i have stayed in every hotel in shipshe, and this is a really nice hotel and a great price! now i live in CA and i an planing a trip home and i am staying the framerstead inn.

I've been a steady patron of the Farmstead since it opened and went there numerous times, I also have sent many families there in the past. My husband and I enjoy are little winter getaway to the Farmstead, were the staff is very friendly and the place is always spotless. I just wish that parents were more atentive toward their children. I have had some bad experiences in the pool area, no fault of Farmstead.

Our family loves going here because it is inexpensive and great for kids. Also, the breakfast is great. We can't wait to go back to not only the Farmstead, but also the town. -Great for unique shopping-

we have stayed at the Farmstead Inn for several trips to visit our daughter at St. Mary's College in Notre Dame, Indiana. Its is a very clean, cozy hotel, with surrounding charm. It is not too long of a ride to St. Mary's (35 miles or so), charming and affordable, especially on crowded football weekends in South Bend.

The best! That is about all we can say about this great hotel room. The room were the cleaniest we have ever seen, and with my wife having allergies, this was a great surprise. We truly could not ask for a better place to stay. If you are going to Shipshewana, the Farmstead is the place to stay.

We have stayed in all the hotels in Shipshewana (even the new one...Wana Waves), before staying at the Farmstead Inn. After staying at the Farmstead Inn, we wish we would have gone here first. This is the BEST hotel we have ever stayed. From the front desk to housekeeping to the complimentary breakfast, everyone provided top notch service. We could not have asked for anything more. Plain and simple....if you are visiting Shipshewana, you must stay at the Farmstead Inn.
