Doryman Motel, Dennis Port

Once again, my wife and I stayed at the Doryman Motel for several days last week. The motel is clean, well-maintained, close to the ocean and the rates are certainly reasonable. Joanne is a people person and very particular about making sure the guests have a nice and quiet place to stay. It has always been a pleasure staying at the Doryman Motel and that's why we keep returning. Joanne can also recommend some very good restaurants to enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner. Ray & Carol.

Service was all always excellent even before we actually meet the wonderful owners, Our room was great. Don't like the second floor. Nice for familys with a nice small kitchen and a short walk to beach.Very clean any thing we needed was addressed immedately. I miss you Joaane and if you read this my luck doesn't get any better had brain surgery day after christmas. I had an aneursym that had a bubble on it, it was close. This was not our first stay at The Doryman, but are happy to report that we found everything to be as wonderful as we did on our first visit. Joanne could not make the booking of our stay easier nor make us feel any more welcome. The care that is put into maintaining this privately owned motel is amazing! Close to the beach, this is not a place for young kids but for families/adults looking to relax in quiet surroundings. Definitely value for the money!! Good job, see you next year! Ray & Carol B.

We were in a bind and had no where to stay as we thought we had reservations at another hotel, but did not. When I called The Doryman Motel and spoke to Joanne, she did everything to accomadate us and was extremely pleasant! We enjoyed our two nights there and would recommend it highly. I love the doryman motel.... From the minute I arrived the service was outstanding and the atmosphere was very customer serviced oriented. It's a great spot for familys, couples and anyone that wants a comfortable get away. I would wholeheartily recommend it.

Our experience at the Doryman was excellent. We stayed there for seven days and had a unit with a kitchenette. Everything was very clean and nothing was missing. Joanne is an extremely friendly and attentive owner. This motel is a 5 minute walk to a public beach, which is very nice! If you go there before 9 or after 4pm, the parking's free. This place is not a good choice for a younger clientele looking to party all night : it is quiet and kids are expected to behave. Pool closed early evening. The Doryman is a very good value : location, cleanliness, friendly owners and price are unbeatable! Our only negative would be about their beds. The queen size was too soft and somewhat saggy. The twin was way too hard... The beds also had plastic covers beneath the sheets that made it uncomfortable to sleep in the hot weather (no A/C in the rooms). But overall, we enjoyed our stay and if we ever return to the Cod, we will most likely stay there again.

Joanne certainly made both my husband and I feel most welcome during our recent stay. It is clear that both she and her husband, George, take pride in ownership and in providing the best experience possible for their guests! Great Job!!

Joanne & George are the NICEST people & take so much pride in their Motel. They are constantly making improvements, the motel is clean & very well maintained This will be our 10th year at the Doryman!
