Red Carpet Inn And Suites New L, New London

I stayed at this hotel for 5 weeks without any issues worth mentioning here. The place was clean and comfortable with a king sized bed, a four burner stove with an oven, a small refrigerator that really held a lot of contents for its size. and a microwave. The high speed wireless internet was also a plus. For a traveling worker on a limited budget ( like me ) the place really fit the bill for economy. It's location put me only 15 minutes from the job site with plenty of restraunts and grocery stores within a short distance. I was so pleased with my accomodations that I told 2 of my fellow coworkers and they also got rooms there. All 3 of us was very satisfied. I intend to stay there again the next time I travel to that area and recommend it to anyone that I work with.

Room was spacious, clean and quiet. Great TV with lots of cable stations and a clear signal. Free WiFi worked great. Kitchen includes a nice fridge. Not luxurious, but an outstanding value. What more can I say? We felt very lucky about finding this motel.

There were no ammenities at this hotel, the keys didn't work repeatedly, the place was rundown, the refridgerator was broken, and the toilet ran incessantly.

When we got to our room the heat did not work. Instead of just moving us to a different room the manager said it would cost us extra. We had to take the space heater from the motel office for heat. Also the stopper for the bathtub did not work, so a bath was out of the question. They also advertised a complimentary breakfast, there wasn't so much as coffee available. The office was locked even at 9:30am. Would never recommend this particular Red Carpet Inn.
