Cold Creek Inn, Mt Shasta

I reserved this inn back in May for my upcoming trip in August. The person (old man) who I spoke with sounded like some sort of drunk. I requested I need 3 rooms for 3 nights, but I had to repeat it several times to make sure with him. Three months later, the day before the trip, inn keeper (woman) called me up and said, "Is it unusual to make reservation for 2 rooms for 3 nights and 1 room for 2 nights?" I could not believe it. They blew it. That was middle of high season, and the manager said it shouldn't be happening. Hello, but it is happening because of your drunk old man. The manager reluctantly offered to find another hotel, but I could not trust them at all. Hopelessly, I tried to find some rooms all around the town. Luckily, after more than 20 calls to the hotels in the area, the Cave Springs Inn saved me. Thank you Louie. I will never going to make any reservation with Creek Inn. That was the "Coldest" experience in my life.
