Decent, but not great.
When I went to check in, they wanted a rate $15 p/night higher than what was listed on the website. The clerk even went so far as to show me registration slips for other guests, who were paying that higher rate, to try and justify it. The clerk claimed that it was hard to get a room in that area for less, but the motel was nearly empty (most of the curtains in the rooms were open, so I could see) and I think they were just trying to make up the difference.
There is wireless internet, but the signal strength in my 2nd floor room was very low.
The room itself was quite nice, with a living room area with a couch, coffee table and ceiling fan, separated by a half-height wall from the bedroom area. TV had accessible and usable video inputs, if you want to bring a DVD player. The window did appear to open, and had a screen, though I did not try. The window had only a single blackout curtain. There was no privacy curtain that would allow light in.
Decent sized mini-fridge, with freezer section and a single ice tray, as well as a microwave. Both were very clean.
There was a yellow pages in the room.
Bathroom was clean and fresh. The shower was powerful and had a multi-function head. Hot water was plenty hot, and shower temp was easily adjustable. However, the heat lamp bulb had been replaced with an ordinary flood light.
The vending room is on the first floor, near the office, and requires your key-card to enter. There is an ice machine, a coin-op washer and dryer, Coke machine and a snack vending machine, though it was very poorly stocked. It was almost empty, with the exception of several racks Hershey's bars.
I had the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door for my entire stay, so I can't judge their housekeeping service, though when I went to the front desk for more coffee packets and toilet tissue, both were behind the counter, and provided quickly, with no questions asked.
