The Capitol Hotel has definitely seen better days. Built in the thirties, expanded in the sixties, it is now way past its prime. Definately only for the completely desperate.
I STAYED THERE IN 2005.THE OWNER WAS RUDE AND DIDN'T PROVIDE ANY HOSPITALITY TO ME OR MY GRANDMOTHER BECAUSE WE WERE BLACK!WHEN HE KICKED EVERYONE OUT HE PROMISED MY GRANDMOTHER THAT SHE WOULD BE OKAY AND DIDN'T HAVE TO LEAVE.UNTIL THE VERY LAST MINUTE,HE MADE HER LEAVE WITH NOWHERE TO GO!!!
By far the best place for a simcha, or just to get away!!! I heard good things about the place so we made a shabbos sheva brachos there, and everyone loved it!!!
