Worst Buffet Restaurant Ever
By Sunny, 6/11/11
I have nothing liked about this place. $22 dinner buffet was a waste of money and terrible food.

PRICE MORE THEN DOUBLE AND FOOD NOT WORTH IT.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/10/10
I have been going to Hershey for a while, the food was never much to write home about, but for Sunday for seniors, the price was $9.99 with everything, We could afford that, but this June, we went into the restaurant and was told that the buffet was $21.99 plus tax and tip, WOW, we turned around and walked out. And went some where else. I had emailed them about this, only to be told that they had added more stuff, when she told me what stuff, it was still not worth it. This is buffet, you take care of yourself, they only bring your drinks and maybe ice cream if you want that. None of this is fancy, and I have done fancy. We go to Shady Maples and their prices are great and they have every kind of food you would want, and their chefs cooking specialtys in meats and other stuff. Seniors get a discount and they take the tip right out when you pay, 9%, thats great! They are not open on Sundays, but their is still Old Country Buffet, which is much better then Hershey, also Yoders started opening on Sunday, 10 AM to 2 PM and they service Sunday Brunch Buffet, everything you want for breakfast, lunch, dinner, price is $10.99 for adults, $6. 49 for children, 10% off for seniors, you will have to pay for your drinks. If you need any information you could email manager, like I did, kathrach@comcast I can say anymore, but I will not go back to Hershey, thats not the way they should be treating people or seniors, with this economy is right now!

Bad nicht gut
By Kaylu, 4/5/10
I liked the farm but that was it. The lunch Buffet/Smörgåsbord was awful. For what we paid it was NOT worth it. We would have been better going to a Chinese buffet. Some of the food tasted like canned dog food smells. I ordered a Philly cheese steak, and instead I got a mashed up hamburger patty with chilly sauce. I took one bite and asked them to take it away.

High Price for Poor Quality of Food.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/9/09
Buffet was very expensive for the surroundings we ate off the Menu and was very unsatisfied!!! For $9.99 we had a Stake the size of a very small Brest of Chicken and thin. We only could pick one side not even two! The service was good but it still @ $9.99 from the menu was not worth it we left still hungry. We had a couponed for $3.00 off and could not use it because we didn't take the more expensive smorgasbord!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would not recommend this Restaurant!!!

High Price for Low Quality of Food
First buffet we went to in the area. $19.95 per person plus drink was extra. Variety was very limited and items that were running low were not quickly replinished. Food tasted like it had been sitting out for a while, not fresh tasting at all. Was a mostly disappointing experience.

Wasn't worth the money
First smorgasbord we stopped at in town. Nice clean building. However meal was $18.99 per person not including a drink. For that kind of price thought there would be more to the buffet, felt it was very limited in selection. Several of the items ran low and it took them a while to refill them. Food was alright, just was expecting more for the price. Service was great, selection and price was not.

The Best Smorgasboard in smorgasbord
By Rocky Raccoon, 4/6/07
We stumbled on this by restaurant by accident our first day of vacation and it was just great. First off all there was a little display of farm animals outside in the parking lot, complete with chickens, rosters, goats and kids, which was a big hit with our small children. You have not eaten at a smorgasbord until you have eaten at an Amish one like this. The food was outstanding and the price was great and the kids eat for free. Also there is a very large gift and crafts area where we bought several things at very reasonable prices. This is a must stop if you are in Strasburg!
