Sunrise Motel, Seaside Heights

If your traveling with three kids....find a place with adjoining rooms. This set up does not work out...we were crippled sleeping on the pull out bed. management did try to help with bringing an extra mattress but still was extremely uncomfortable. The kitchen is empty...not even a coffee pot. There is not one clock in the rooms other than the one on the microwave. If you come for the nightlife you will be happy...its in a busy, ie noisy bar area. You are a quick walk to the beach. It was relatively clean, some minor mildew. No food on premises...coupons are given to area resturants and no newspapers. Found the management rude and condesending. He was not sympathetic to the fact that my husband and I were uncomfortable...he responded "too bad...no refunds". We left a day early because we could not sleep there another night. If you are a young family, I suggest staying out of the area and spend the day. You can find cheap parking early in the morning and spend the day at the beach/boardwalk. Beach passes are only $5 dollars for people 12 and up. Boardwalk can get expensive if you have multiple children.

I would definitely recommend, The room was very clean and comfortable. They cleaned the BBQ grill, the tables and chairs, and the walkways. After a night rain they were out mopping the water from the walkways. The owners were very helpful making suggestions when asked for restaurants and a deli, and the meals were great and reasonable. They told us about a department store to buy infant and toddler clothes for our grandchildren, we could not find small sizes on the boardwalk that were appropriate. They even showed my husband a church for mass. Location was great just a short walk to the beach and the boardwalk. They were helpful and always with a smile on their face. This made us feel like they cared about us and wanted our business. At night it was quiet no loud noises or loud parties. It was worth the time and money. I would recommend Sunrise Motel. We are checking our calendar for next summer to go back.
