Extremely disappointing.

We showed up to eat around 8 o'clock, so they were definitely 'post dinner rush'.
The salads were good, and the biscuits WERE excellent,
After placing the order, the waittress came back out and said that the "fry machine was broken". What? WHAT?! Oil fryers do not just 'suddenly break'. They get shut down to be cleaned. They shut down all of the fryers early, and then tried to pass it off as them suddenly broken.
One thing i can tell you wasn't broken, was the heat lamps. I don't know how long ago the shrimp, scallops, and lobster had been cooked, but by the time I got them, one side was totally soaked in butter, but tender, and the other side was shrivelled up into seafood-prunes. The lobster tails were shrunken down to the point that I could easily run my finger between the leathery (yes leathery) meat and it's shell. The corn was the same way, the bottom soaked in their fake-butter garlic sauce adn the top dried out and chewy. The sides were good though.
The potatoes and side veggies were both great. I didn't go to Red Lobster and pay twenty six bucks for a baked potato with sour cream and rice pilaf. The waitress was too busy spraying some gross lemony cleaner on the nearby banisters, and vacuuming the floor, to ask us what we thought. When we were asked how every thing was, the bill was already on the table.
The soda was nicely balanced, though.
like most chains, there's nothing unique about the place in general. The staff seem uninspired, sort of like coal shovellers on the train. There was no attempt to pretend that any thought or care was given towards the customers. Oh well, it was a monday, waht can you expect.
From here, apparently, not much.
