Royal Inn, Terre Haute

missed re-reserving the holiday inn and wasn't going to stay at the "super mold" or the "seen better days inn" every where else was booked full. tried the royal inn motel and they had a room. I was a little worried about it, just cause it was a motel, until we seen the rooms and met the staff. The owner is very nice, even after you pay. The rooms are very clean and very well priced. We were going to stay just a night, but after the first night we were so impressed we stayed the whole work week and plan on staying here next time were in terre haute.

The room was clean and neat. We slept well and the staff was very friendly. We will return the next time we visit our child at school. It is away from the over crowded corridor of US41 and I70.

When we stayed there the promised internet connection didn't work; no ice machine; stupid teenager working at desk; some loud, obnoxious neighbors. Never stay there again. Same owners own a motel on Hiway 63 near Clinton, IN, north of Terre Haute; probably won't stay there either after this bad experience.

We were here working out of town and had to deal with people and there drug dealers man and woman fighting at midnight then breaking windows at 3 in the morning. Called front desk but nothing happend never got one night of good sleep always something going on in the parking lot. Never changed our linen for the whole week no microwave that said we would have no coffee maker or cups.

Wireless Internet!!! I went for business, so had to stay in an affordable hotel but also had to have high-speed internet. The location was perfect, AMAZING rooms, and Wireless Internet. Couldn't ask for much better. I got the room of a high-end franchise hotel, without having to spend the money for it. The room had microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, recliner, nice comfy bed, very clean. They also had a gazebo outside, with grill. Also, there was a restaurant on-site. The staff was very nice.

They had amazingly clean rooms. One of the things that I found most useful was the wireless internet. I really enjoyed my stay there. The staff was friendly. The price was a little high, but the room was worth every penny of it.

We were pleasantly suprised with the room, and rate! Clearly renovated, new beds/linen/fridge/etc. Still working on grounds, but we would definitely stay again. Dinner on-site was good, with generous steak portions.
