Nugget Inn, Carson City

Following an extended stay of 3 months: I prepaid my rent monthly, the first negative; the management cancelled housekeeping for all units on a weekly contract or longer. No long supplied soaps, toilet tissue, etc. The place became infested with bedbugs and spiders. I was told if I called the health department I would be evicted without refund. After waiting for the management to clean up the infestation I finally called the Health Dept. and left the property for another local Inn (I have a 6-month business contract and needed to stay on in downtown Carson City)...my new place is wonderful with all the amenities and less expensive. The Nugget Inn is in dire straights...many other long term tenants have found other quarters nearby; or been evicted for complaining. The outward appearance of the Nugget Inn is pleasant, it is close to local attractions, and they do have a nightly motel building which they maintain very well to attract nightly guests. However, if you plan a visit for a week or more you will be very disappointed. Definitely not worth the money.
