Breezeway Motel, Fairfax

I stayed at this motel for one night and it was the most terrifying night of my life. although nothing bad happened, But still the environment of that area is not good at all. first when I checked in, she gave me the key to my room and then when I get into my room I was surprised that it was a two beds room. why would they give me that room If I'm a 1 person? Plus, I think this place is known for it's prostitues.. linens were dirty FOR BOTH Beds. also, I've been told that homeless people stay there for free. I've to admit though that the area is ok, you have a good variety of fast food chains around. If you have kids, DO NOT bring them here, instead of paying 80$ at this hotel add 20 bucks and at stay the the hampton inn instead, I heard the service is way much better + much safer.

Place is out of date. You get to choose a room where only 1 thing works, be it the heat, ac or stove. Staff will complain if you ask for clean towls, toiletries or to vacuume. Front desk people are rude and verry unprofessional.

It was not a good place to live at all. I requested a non-smoking room on telephone and later when i reach there i was provide smoking room. They said I didn't request non-smoking room. More, it is very noisy place to live.

I'm a local and i can honeslty say this is a trashy hotel. There is a school right next to it, these high school students use this hotel go and get laid by their rich little girlfriends. SO STAY AWAY from this hotel during school season

This is a quaint throwback to the 50's. It is very clean and comfortable considering it's older decor. I think it's a great deal for the money and is equipped with kitchenettes to fix small meals if you want to save some money while traveling, or plan to stay for a few days for sightseeing or business. I'll be back again.

Bathroom was clean and towels fresh. Liked having Rt66 around the corner to go to Washington, DC.

Its location is perfect. I loved staying here with my family consists of wife plus two kids. Its nice place where food is nearby and connected to bus if you wish to go to DC as a tourist. Only problem is that one needs to stay on fast food.

older mid-century motel. Lacks amenities like a fancy lobby, swimming pool, internet, or continental breakfast. It is however a good place to rest after a long day. Hotel looked a bit bedraggled on the outside, but the rooms weren't too bad. They were reasonably clean, but dated in the decour. Rooms have a nice little kitchenette, and decent bathrooms. Despite the fact this hotel serves as a long term dwelling for residents, and it was right beside a busy highway with lots of commercial sprawl, it was amazingly quiet, and I had no problem catching rest. TV service is a bit lacking with only 10 channels. Elderly grandmotherly like lady was very friendly at the front desk. I found her much easire to deal with than trying to interpret the foreign accents of clerks at other hotels in the area.

I loathe coming to the northern VA area, and would never travel here by choice, but was here for business, and this hotel was in a nice central location for the job I was doing. Frequently avaliable when others hotels are booked, and seems to be a nice little family run business.

This is a motel that local organizations seriving the low income and homeless population use as a temporary shelter for their homeless clients. Paying just a little more, you can stay at much nice places nearby.
