I paid less than posted!
By rodney, 2/24/12
I don't know where yahoo got their rates. I paid $119.00 on the weekend, and $89.00 on Sunday! Loved this place. Esp. loved the breakfast. Big bowls of fruit, cereal, yogart, homemade banana bread, bagels, juice, and the best egss I ever had. I appreciated the healthy choices. Rooms very the best I've stayed in at snowshoe. Our bed had one of those big soft mattress pads. You can't go wrong staying here!!!!!

Breakfast Excels
By Marshall Parrish, 2/10/09
4 of my buddies and I wanted to do snowshoe on the cheap. Morning Glory Inn provided us with a huge room. Like twice the size of your average two bedroom in a hotel. After you throw in one of the best breakfast I have ever had, it was well worth the $129 on a major weekend we paid. Cheese Eggs, Hashbrowns, Bacon, Coffee, Orange and Apple juice was all great. And the big breakfast ended up saving us money on the slopes cause we weren't buying snacks from hunger all day. The only negative is that it isn't at the village and that is a long drive if you have be at Apre Ski. But the price and breakfast clearly make up for any small inconveniences.

One word awesome
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/9/08
WOW! The Morning glory Inn was nothing short of impressive. Me and a couple of my buddies went to stay here to go to the snowshoe resort for snowboarding/skiing. The pictures looked nice but were nothing compaired to the real thing. The view from the rooms view was breath taking, a pituresque bowl of snowy mountains and landscape, complete with the creek acting as a moat protecting the Inn. The rooms were comfortable, greatly spacious, and very clean. With a very log cabin-like decor this Lodging was especially homey. The great room was a nice touch I think, it gave the impression you were really at home, I met a family (mom and son), me and my friend talked ski talk with the son for about an hour and enjoyed the Big screen cable in the company of others which was relif from the 5 hour car ride. The Inn keepers, a grandpa n' grandma type couple were hospitable, they cooked a hearty homemade breakfast that was delicious and filling, the couple were so friendly it was as if I was staying at my grandparents house. I will defenitly come back to stay here and take my family at the closest avaliable time. No dissapointments.

Great breakfast, nice clean rooms
By ThinkNice, 1/8/07
We decided to stay at the Morning Glory Inn for two nights on a recent ski trip to Snowshoe during the holiday week. Our room was fairly large and clean. Both our breakfasts were huge and excellent and were 2 courses. I think its about as close to Snowshoe you can get without actually being there. Although the rates were pretty high because it was the holiday week it was considerably less expensive than staying at the resort. The only problem I noticed is that the jacuzzi jets in the bathtub didn't exactly work so well. If we ever go skiing at Snowshoe again we would definitely stay there again.
