Rodeway Inn, Beaver

This hotel looks great from the outside. When I went into the lobby I was overwhelmed with a horrible smell. I think it was from some sort of cooking, the smell made me gag. This should have been my first clue what the room would be like. We are traveling with a small very well trained dog so we paid the $10 extra fee for her. The cost came to $70 for a standard room with the dog. When we walked into the room, it had an overwhelming smell of strong cat urine and the air was damp. We stayed in the room about 10 minutes - it was late, I had drove 14 hours and I was just hoping we could get used to the smell and go to sleep. The room smelled so bad I was afraid to put anything on the ground. After 10 minutes I could still smell the cat urine and I was feeling like I could not stay in the room any longer. I asked to be moved and was informed I could not move to another room so I asked for a refund. The front desk called someone and eventually I got a refund.
