Motel Inverness, Inverness

We had a great room (room with a view). The bed was comfortable, room nice. We spent time at the lodge by the fireplace. We watched birds from the deck. I'd tell friends to stay there, and I'd return.

My mother and I are enjoying the softly playing music and dying embers of a fire and free wireless access in the lodge of the Motel Inverness. This morning I saw the sun rise over hills beyond the marsh visible from behind the hotel. Our room (#3) is cozy and small, unpretentious and comfortable, with nice heat and a cable TV connection. The managers have made us feel at home with courteous service and a nice tea/coffee/biscotti-containing kitchenette in the lodge. We look forward to the next time that we can stay in this conveniently-located motel and sink into its comfy chairs after a day of exploring Point Reyes. Plus, there's a pool table, Scrabble and other games, and local field guides to keep guests busy on long winter nights.
