Long Barn Lodge Ice Rink & Event Center, Long Barn

We are a group of friends from all over California and we started meeting at the Long Barn 3 years ago. After our first visit we knew that we would make the Long Barn our reunon place every year. They staff is great. The location is awesome, tucked away in the mountains near lakes, Yosemite, and unique restaurants. There is a pool, BBQ, ice skating rink that can also be used for group parties and the rooms are large and clean. You can also get a furnished cabin with kitchen, fireplace and cooking utensils. It is pet friendly too! What more can you ask for???? The price can't be beat either. You certainly get more than your money's worth.

Debbie Sharp the General Manager is an absolute doll. Her overall hospitally was outstanding. The cabins are clean and warm and the location is fantastic. You can't be the service and location for such a great price. Very family oriented. We highly recomend it to others especially those with young children.

This was our 14th year having the family reunion at LBL. The grounds were immaculate, the staff very accommodating as to our many and varied requirements, and the pool a refreshing oasis. The families with little ones were thrilled, as always, with the sense of being in a safe and family-friendly environment. This is not a "five-star"- type resort, but if you're looking for an exceptionally beautiful setting, with comfortable and reasonable lodging options, then the Long Barn Lodge deserves high-points indeed for over-all value. We think it's one of those hidden gems, but then, after 14 years, we're probably a little prejudiced.

Long Barn Lodge has the perfect outdoor setting. The surrounding area is beautiful with plenty of activities; many lakes and rivers. The rooms were very clean and freshly painted. The staff was pleasant and available.

The place was wonderful , and the staff was really nice and very friendly I would Highly recommend it.

on 06-20-09 my wife and I, upon our daughters request, held the wedding weekend events at the Longbarn Lodge. WOW!!!!! If you are going to have a group get-to-gether, you want it in one of the most beautiful areas on the west coast and you want staff around you who cares,"shop no more." take it from us, Fred & Jill Huckaby

We stayed in a cabin, but my cousins stayed in the motel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms/cabins were clean and the property very well maintained. A family member got married in the garden. Absolutly gorgeous! Ceremony/Reception and Lodging all on the same property for the weekend. They have a swimming pool, volleyball, horseshoes, and an awesome bbq/patio area. The ice skating rink is used for a party room in the summer months. The DJ decorated the party room for the dance and they even have a disco ball! Very affordable for a vacation and we have already made reservations to go back in the winter so we can go ice skating (also on the property). All of our family and friends had a great time and we would reccomend for a vacation or wedding.

We stayed in a studio cabin and since it was off season we were able to get a discount. The cabin was very clean and well maintained. The staff was very friendly. We can't wait to go back!

the rooms were very clean and people very nice. we thought that the location is a very big plus there is so much to do at and around the lodge,ice skating,sking,hiking,fishing,swimming,biking and the food in and around long barn was of a very large selection. our favorite was diamond jims they had great seafood and prime rib. we cant wait to go back and we have told our friends and family they also enjoyed it very much!!!

Stayed here out of necessity rather then desire. I arrived with me and two kids at 2:45 pm. Official check in was at 3:00 pm. I was told not to come back until 3:00 pm. They refused to checked me in or even see if they had a room available. It went from bad to worse from there. It was hard to operate the heater. It was a simple electric wall heater with a nob broke off so it was hard to operate. The bathroom door was so warped and would not close so we had no privacy. The maid service was poor so the room wasn't particularly clean. At least bedding seemed washed. Tenents next door were very loud and when I told the managers they said I should have done something about it myself. When I got home I found out they illegally charged my card without my consent. When I called them about the charge they said it was because we smoked in the room. I have never smoked in my life and my children don't they are just 10 and 6. I reported them to the BBB and found out they have a black mark already due to unresponsiveness.
