Pine Valley Golf Club, Elizabethtown

For the golfer looking for a great deal on a weekend or 3 day package, this place can't be beat. The condos are decent. The restaurant offers and sports bar/ night club with live music if the all day golfing and beer drinking didn't already wear you out. Plus a pool. The course is always just fair. Not spectacular, not terrible. Just ok. I love the design. Always have. There are several unique holes on the course. But every year, it's always something that's not up to snuff. This year the fairways were not great. But the greens were wonderful, unlike years past. But so what? We've played joints in KY on our little weekend trip for years. Unlike most resorts, including the state parks, for a little less money than what most charge, the golf is unlimited!! We ALWAYS play 2.5 rounds per day. Compared to the total of 3 rounds for an entire weekend at other resorts. You simply can't beat that. You just can't. There are plenty of restaurants and stores in the area. So if you don't want the typical sports bar food, you have several options. Frankly, the value here is just to immense for us to consider going anywhere else next year. For unlimited golf and accommodations, we paid $200 per person. Tey had a special this year, but even in years past, it was not much more than that.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The club house can use some work, but the staff, restaurant, range, and course were outstanding. We also found the overall area to be beautiful.
