An incredible location to get away from the noise of the strip. Branson landing starts right across the street and it is close enough to downtown to walk all over and shop. Rooms were small and quaint. The sheets were old and pilled up, but the rest of the room was perfect. We plan to return to the Landmark Inn from now on anytime we come to Branson.
We love everything about the Landmark Inn - location, price, cleanliness. It is so nice to be off the strip and close to the Landing and downtown. Our whole family 20+ is taking over the Inn a long weekend each summer.
I found Dick and Dotties great hide-a-way in 2001 and I try to get back every year. AND, this is ithe only place I will stay. It sits between the RR tracks and the cemetary (so the neighbors are very quiet) and it is a convenient walk to Old Downtown Branson for great shopping and restuarants. But the main reason I always visit here is for Dick and Dottie. The place is emmaculately clean and the price is very right. Thanks to D & D.
We found this place by accident, what a find it was. Very clean, location was great close to old town downtown and the new landing. Walking distance to both. Dick and Dottie were great, good to talk to and get lots of info about the prospects of Branson. Cool nights on the veranda in the porch swing, such a relaxing place to be. We have recommended this place to all our friends and plan on going back next year.
I came looking not for the Branson everyone knows today, but for the place I stayed as a child at Sammy Lane Resort. The resort is gone, but by chance we stayed one night at this Inn. Two stories (8 rms or so); we were upstairs, and I relished the place. I could imagine staying longer and sitting on the veranda just outside the door, and playing games; reading, or going down to the (above-ground) pool. I even liked the fact that the train tracks were next to the Inn on one side, and a cemetery was on the other, but you might feel differently. As I remember the small room had a coffee maker and a micro-wave, and a televison of course. This location is a block or two from the new "Branson Landing" development, so it may be perfectly situated for the "future" Branson.
My family has been going here for about 6 years now.We all love it. My teen age girls wouldn't stay anywhere esle. The owners are awsome.Remember you By name from year to year. They treat you as family. We go every year for annual dance comp. We only have this year and one more left. But we will keep returning just for this place. Thanks Dick& Dottie for all your hard work and love.
The Bayless family
I loved the location. Close to the old downtown and to the new river front mall. Within walking distance of both. Family orientated and Family owned. The proprietors were friendly and helpful.
The rooms were equipped with fridge, coffee pot and mirco wave and some dinner ware
we came upon this home-away-from-home inn by accident, the best accident we could have ever made on a vacation, this is the only place we stay, we visit 3-4 times a yr, Dick and Dot are great, sitting on the porch is very relaxing, visiting past patrons, beds are above the norm, so are the rooms, clean, comfort, we are going again this Oct. maybe we will see ya there, T&J FROM OK..
My family has stayed here several times and want to return whenever they plan a trip to Branson. The motel has two levels, very clean, and very reasonably priced. The owners are kind and considerate, saying hello whenever they are out around the grounds. It is right across the street from the new Branson Landing development in downtown. So you're very close to all it will have to offer.
