36 Motel, Greeneville

Stayed there a few times. The room was about $45 bucks a night and very close to the I-81. Like a Mom & Pop Motel. Felt sorry for the couple who ran it and gave a tip when paying for the room. The next time I stayed there I was about 8 cents short and she waited while I hunted up the change. I then counted the cars parked there and realized that they do very well in filling the vancancies. The rooms are somewhat clean but they don't put a penny into fixing them up. They could make the rooms nice and cute if they bought things at yard sales or the Good Will. With the buisness going well,there is no excuse for not up dating this place just a little. Some people are just penny pinchers and do not want to part with a nickle to make the place a little nicer. With yard sales and Dollar stores today there is no excuse for not having nice bedside lamps , wall lights,tables, towels or bed spreads. If your short on money,,, and don't mind going back into the 1970's STAY HERE!. but I would not take little kids because I would not want them crawling around on the floor.
