Tod Motel, Las Vegas

Great staff. Nice and quiet, perhaps because of the slow time here in Vegas. They provided what I needed. Not the prettiest place, but invaluable to me. As a weary traveler.

this may be an older but clean motel but let me tell you the staff are one of a kind They make you feel like family and never want to leave I was there for weeks and was sad to go. Id recomend this place to anyone who has a taste for real home places with real people from all over the world. Ill be going back soon I hope!

The place is located on the main strip in Las vegas and I had the most wonderful time when I stayed there. Everyone was so friendly when I had a question or needed assistance. The pool was open 24hrs. and I like to swim at night. I recommend this place to all travellers!! Thanks again!! -Matthew G. Los Angeles, CA.

The Tod was an interesting stay we were looking for something and found this place off the internet. We made reservations and when we arrived we were ready to leave. The motel is in a bad nieghborhood, at night the busses didn't even want to stop. The place is a mix of people down on their luck, recovering addiction people or some who are still addicicted to whatever. The room was fairly clean there was a few bugs in the bathroom there was no trim around the air conditioner so you could look right outside. The family that bought the place were very nice and it appeared they were doing there best. The night counter person was pleasent and accomadating. Overall I would not reccomend this motel unless you are on a very tight budget, I would never take my wife or girlfriend there even if for safety reasons.

From the first phonecall to reserve the room until checkout we were treated in a very friendly and respectful way. The staff really goes a long way to accommodate any questions or needs. In my opinion they went out of their way to make sure the stay was as nice as possible. This is very rare in my experiences at places that offer very affordable rooms. The room was nothing fancy, but the important thing to me was that they were clean. Lets be honest, if you're in Vegas for fun, the last thing you're going to do is sit in a motel room all day for entertainment purposes. We just wanted a place to sleep that was comfortable, and the Tod Motor Motel more than delivered (especially for the price compared to similar places on a weekend). Also, the location was great as it was just a few blocks from the north end of The Strip and Stratosphere. The Deuce bus stop is right there and will take you anywhere on The Strip, or to the downtown/Freemont casinos for $2 a ride. If your looking for upper end lodging, this place won't be for you. However, if you're in Vegas for a good time and only need a clean, affordable room with VERY friendly staff, I would highly recomemnd the Tod Motor Motel!
