Regency Motel, Las Vegas

i went to vegas on business and just had to stay in a seedy, dirty, narsty place as i had imagined to be the quintessential vegas motel... and i was not let down. cockroaches in the sink, bathtub and one dying on the floor... unidentified dried fluids stained the walls and the carpet... i didn't even dare to peel back the sheets on the bed, which i think could fold up into the wall. the woman at the front counter didn't disappoint either... surly and in a nightgown at 3pm she completed the image. it was pretty cheap compared to other places on "the strip", though a little far from the action. if you stay here definitely take "the deuce" [2 level bus that circles the strip] down to the casinos or you'll be walking quite a distance. stay there... but bring hand sanitzer.

My wife and I stayed here on a short notice trip to Vegas. That one trip alone tought me the lesson of never going to Vegas again without reservations. This place did have a window mounted a/c that didn't work, you had to run around in the shower to even get wet do to the lack of water pressure, the pool was open but I think that if you would have gotten in the water you would have come out with a terminal disease, the hotel staff was nonexsistent we had to wait for an hour while the attendant was passed out on the counter and my pounding on the door could not wake him, the king size bed sagged in the middle and diffently still had the same sheets on it the a hooker and her trick used the night before. All in all if you want a cheap disgusting experience you should stay here. Oh yeah the good thing is that they are one of the few hotels on the strip that allow pets (the only reason we stayed here).

i like this motel its not the best and its not the worst,the front desk guy is so crazy and hilarious he makes it worth the stay!
