Mountain View Motel, Maryville

Stayed here on 5 July 2010 while on a M/C tour. Owner was friendly and helpful. Price was only 40 bucks for a clean, air conditioned room, close to everything I needed. Would stay here again.

Stayed there in April 2009 and everything was as expected for a hotel of this caliber. The front desk people (the owner) were friendly but the wife did not speak much, if any, English. But, that wasn't a problem as the husband was a quick phone call away. We put 3 guys in 1 room (we used the pull out couch). A nice benefit was that the overhang in the front was big enough for us to park our motorcycles under it if storms were coming. Easy access to local resturaunts and the Dragon (Deals Gap) is just a few miles south of the hotel.
