I will never rent from Cabins USA Gatlinburg, TN again... We have always stayed at a cabin called Hold Yer Horse prior to Cabins USA taking over management of the cabin. We have always loved our stay but this year we was highly upset with the cleanliness of the cabin and the customer support staff of Cabins USA. We arrived late in the evening to find that the code that was left for us would not open the cabin door. We spent over an hour trying to contact someone from the company. We had no other choice but to stay in a hotel room. We figured that Cabins USA would work with us on a discount or reimbursement. Boy was we mistaken!!!! They said that if we would have called one tiny printed number on the front of the ENVELOPE, then she could work with us...Mind you I called EVERY NUMBER in the PACKET!!! So we was out for the night that we didn't stay in the cabin plus hotel expense for the fault of the cabin not being up kept. The maintenance man even commented that he has had to deal with that door several times previously...SO WHY WASN'T IT FIXED BEFORE! He had to hammer away pieces of the door frame to prevent it from getting stuck. Well after that. We notice that the hot tub was GREEN and the jets and filters were BROWN!!! I called and was extremely polite and the lady I spoke with was polite as well. While we were out, someone came over and attempted to clean the hot tub. We returned to find a note that said that the hot tube was already clean but that the water makes it look that way. They did nothing to the hot tub. When it was turned on...the foam was brown AFTER THE CLEANING CREW LEFT. The toilets didn't appear to have been scrubbed and there was a window that was previous broken that was boarded up. The window seal still had broken glass in it which was directly above the staircase. We have always loved this cabin and have never experienced anything like mentioned when it was under Alpine Cabin. The staff was inconsiderate and the cabin was poorly up kept.

We stayed at Whispering Pond and it was PERFECT. Looked out and saw a pond. We relaxed and found a new connection. The back way on Collier Dr. then right on Veteran's Blvd. took us right to Dollywood. YEAH.

We stayed in "Hanky Panky" and absolutely loved it! The hot tub wasn't heating properly and within 20 minutes after calling the office, the maintenance guy arrived and had things going again. He even had the office call us a couple of hours later to make sure it was still working properly. The cabin was clean and very cutely decorated. LOVE IT!

The cabin we found on their website was the exact cabin we stayed it.. You always wonder how old the photos are but in this case it was perfect. We were centrally located between Gatlinburg and Piegon Forge with the most majestic views. We really felt like home and didn't want to leave, in fact we stayed 3 extra days. These cabins were perfect, I can't wait to go back!!

We have stayed with Cabins USA for years. We have always enjoyed the cabins we stay in. Always been clean and just as mentioned. Service has always been great. Will never stay anywhere else when we go down. Already got our cabin booked for our next trip. Great cabins and great service

We booked over the phone, since I didn't have internet access at the time and we were completely taken by this company. They state they have pool access, and they do; 3 miles up a windy very steep hill. The pool is also operated by another company, and the rules are so strict you can basically get in the water and stand there. Our kids wouldn't even get into the water. The cabin itself had spiders, stained carpeting, broken patio doors and an ice cold hot tub. The cabin was very musty (which is a terrible thing when traveling with people who have allergies). When we called and complained about these things and said we refused to stay, the office staff didn't care. We never stayed and have spent months fighting with them for a refund. I had to send in a dispute of charges to my credit card company to get anything resolved as I could never speak with a general manager at this location. When we did get the dispute paperwork in, they fought it and the letter I received back from them had flat out lies in it. I had to provide copies from the alternate lodging showing we never stayed, since they tried to tell the credit card company we stayed for the whole stay. They are not trustworthy people and I would never give them my business again. Don't go here, if I had been able to access the internet and seen all the negative reviews I would never have booked with htem.

we stayed in "call of the wild" thjere was VERY LITTLE that we liked about the rental. it had nice beds, and location was nice-----BUT, it was a lousy, dirty ,expensive mistake! the drive way had a huge washout , almost impassable. the hot tub was cold and nasty, smelled like rotting fish. the cabin was extremely dirty, lots of cobwebs, very dirty windows and screens,briken lamps, some with no lightbulbs. no tv remote, broken door,and a dirty unkempt smell. when i called to talk to a manager about these problems, i was told the manager would call me back. i have called at least 8 times with no response. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NON EXISTANT. i vacation in gatlinburg every year but will never book with this very unprofessional place again. save yourself a lot of grief and book anywhere else!

Like: The view - the secluded spot Dislike -the cabin we rented "Ever After" was filty - mold in bathroom all around tub, shower curtain hanging, filthy kitchen - years of old knick-knack garage sale crap dirty with age, grease and dust. Hot tub kept blowing the circuit. Rugs were filty. Grounds needed a good cleaning. Would NOT recommend ! they charged a $40.00 cleaning fee on top of it all - VERY disappojnted in everything - wish I would have seen these reviews before renting !!!!! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

The Best Place To Get Stuck! We decided to go to Tennessee for our 13th wedding anniversary and brough 4 other couples with us. Gatlinburg Cabins Online was the only company that was able to accomadate so many couples that wanted "king beds only". This was the first + for me. It wasn't until I booked with this company, that I began to see all the negative reveiws. At any rate, I decided to continue to deal with them, because I was tired of looking for a cabin that would accomadate everyone. And the Smoky Getaway cabin had everything I was looking for. I must say, GCO was the total opposite of what I've read. The people there was very easy to deal with, very nice and considerate. I received a call the morning I was to come up, advising that it was snowing and to be prepared. We thought we would be good since we were coming up in SUVs. We checked in and the girls at the front desk were wonderful...and said if we had any problems to give them a call. We walk into the cabin, and it was the most beautiful cabin I've stayed in, it was warmed up for us (as promised) and everything was cleaned. Each and every one of us, was very pleased to say the least. I had not one complaint about the cabin. Now its time for us to leave and the weather is worse, not only in TN, but in Georgia were we are from. The worst weather Georgia has seen in almost 10 years. At any case, I called and spoke to the office and advised them of our delimeha, and with no hesitation, they made arrangements for us to stay. The manager even called me back and to reassured us. They were so nice and understanding, it almost brought me to tears, because I really did not want to get out there in that weather. Special mention to the ladies at Gatlinburg Cabins Online (Amanda, Britany, Stephanie, and Mandy - I'm sure I'm leaving someone out...sorry!) Thanks for making this anniversary trip special. Your customer service and warm attitude really made our trip. You have those that will post bad reviews; I just glad I was able to share my positive experience with all of you...because my experice was really a good one!!

I was horrified to read the ratings before we went on vacation in September of 2010. We absolutely loved our cabin and would definitely book again! Our cabin was named “Mountain Music” in Gatlinburg, and we stayed in September of 2010. The cabin was as described online and very private. We had a bit of a problem locating the cabin, from the map we were given, but we had driven for 7 hours and encountered bumper to bumper traffic from the Fall Rod Run. We had a great time!
