El Toro Motel, San Luis Obispo

The place was very run down and had a strong musty or moldy odor. The walls had much damage including peeling paint and plaster. The shower was so disgusting, I had to wear my thongs. The sheets had stains. One morning the shower, and toilet were clogged; could not use either. Brown water flooded the shower. No refund was offered. Absolutely disgusting place! Walls are very thin. We and are children were not able to sleep, do the the pounding noise in the room next door at 3am. The hotel was over priced. We chose the place because it was very close to Cal Poly and it was the only hotel available in SLO.
