I too was tired and needed a olace to sleep . A old homeless looking guy showed a room that they had left to me and another person. i should have looked at it more closely. They should not be renting rooms in this motel, The microwave was dirty and food from whomever was still there. the toilet had no tank top on it , the refrig was gross, the shower wasnt clean, the carpet was bad, a tear in the curtain, i was afraid to walk barefoot in there. I clean for a living. Where is the health inspector on this place!
arriving tired, late at night, not a good idea! We thought it was ok - in the dark! Next morning we discovered the bed bugs.got severly bitten all over the face and body - not being us residents its difficult to sue but we would if we could!!! We showed the owner (denied he was!) who declined a refund but we won in the end. There was also the worst water hammer we have ever heard! We had to demonstrate this to the owner though we dont believe he didnt know about it as the room was next door to reception! We told him the mattresses should be taken out and burnt - they were covered in stains!. The heater didnt work and 2 other portable heaters didnt work either. The owners attitude was awful - like it was our fault - you shoulda seen the so called cleaner! He was filthy! So never book in a motel and not check everything. We always check for roaches and check straight out if we see the mearest sign- but we never thought of bed bugs!! jo whyte from england
