Disappointed

I made my reservation at this motel two months in advance. They don't use computers, so they couldn't give me a confirmation number. Got there to check in--no record of my reservation. They didn't have a non-smoking, first floor room available for two nights. They sent me to the other property they own, the Quality Inn there, and they wouldn't honor the $52.12 rate for the second night they had previously given me. They wouldn't give me a first-floor room because a group had reserved the entire first floor months in advance. The room was poorly lighted; the frig hummed; garbage can wasn't emptied; coffee not refilled; "deluxe" continental breakfast very limited. Got no apology from the manager, who is over both motels. Will not stay at either place again.
