Pioneertown Motel, Pioneertown

What a gem! If you want something off the beaten track, this is it. We don't like to stay in a typical generic motel and this was one of the highlights on our travels through the states. We enjoyed it thoroughly.

We had never been to Pioneertown and had found out about it on the internet after the fires that came through there. This darling motel was wonderful! I was shocked to read the previous review because our rooms were very clean and had brand new sheets and towels. We then found out that the motel has brand new owners: Susan and Fulton. They were very sweet and made sure that we had a great stay, which we did. the place was built in 1946 and has an old world feel about it. The furniture and items are not new, and some are worn. But the rooms were comfortable and clean. We'll definitely be going back....again....and again. Beautiful night skies and walking distance to dinner and music. You can't beat it!
