Carolina Inn, Loris

March 16, 2009 What a little hidden treasure in Loris, SC. My wife and I had a wonderful visit there a few weeks back the rates for being only 20 minutes from the beach were perfect and the staff will totally make feel at home. Be sure to stop in and ask for Tammy (the Manager ) a very sweet lady…and Kim at the Front desk. Jim and sylvia

The pictures on their website does not do them justice. The inn was much better than I thought it would be. The lobby is beautiful and very comfy, the rooms are cozy and nice, with fridge and microwave, very clean place, very nice staff, close to supermarket and other stores. I will stay there next time I visit.

I had a wonderful stay at The Carolina in this time around. I stop coming to the hotel last year because of the staff and lack of care the hotel used to have. So when I found my mother was in the ICU at Loris hospital I refused to return there and was driving back in forth from Little River at all hours and my brother called to say he was impressed with accommodation's at th Carolina Inn this time so, I joined him and rented just one night and ended up staying three weeks! I love those girls there and the manager you have got to meet when you visit because she and her husband (The owner I believe) sent me flowers when my sweet mother passed. I believe the Carolina Inn may be under new management.This last time I was in it looked and felt like a new hotel entirely. The staff is very friendly as well. We will be regular guests.

We had stayed here a few year back and where very satisfied but after this weeks stay we will never go back it has really gone down hill. kinda reminded me of a crack house with all the type of people in and out. very loud no water preasure,locks broken,slowest dsl ever,room was not suplied with towels and other items when we arrived had to go ask.really ashame because we enjoyed the previous stay homefully owner will get it turned around soon before it get too far gone

This place was great! Excellent service. Reasonable prices. Great value! We have already decided that we won't stay anywhere else when we make our yearly visit to myrtle beach!

This place is new but the halls ar dirty, beds are hard. We got a no smoking room but the whole motel smelled like an old cigarette, even our "no smoking room". Also very limited breakfast, no coffe, soap, pen paper, cups, ect in room.

Great hotel, great service, and all the amenities of a big chain like Hampton such as a wonderful continental breakfast, free internet access in the rooms, outstanding beds and furniture (better than even a Hampton), and good location. What a find!!! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. I will stay there now when I come for business. I have already recommended the hotel to my company for all future travelers to stay at!

I couldn't agree more with the other reviews. The cleanliness, service, breakfast, accessibility, beds, showers, curtains -- everything! -- is something you would expect from The Hampton Inn. Trust me, you'll love this place. They even have wireless internet in the rooms!

New hotel with excellent service. Staff was very friendly. Rooms were very clean. Security is excellent
