Oceanaire Motel, Myrtle Beach

I found this Motel by chance. I have stayed here several times and will continue to do so. I recommend this Motel to my friends. The rooms are EXTREMELY clean....not even any carpet lent in the corners. As others have said, the owners make you feel like you're staying with family. I mean that in a good way...lol. The rooms are very large. You are not getting a room the size of a closet. There is an excellent pancake house close by. They also have grills for use. I highly recommend this Motel.

I love this motel. The owners are wonderful and very helpful. I called just a week before my daughter 7th birthday and needed something for 6 people from friday til monday.(during grad week no less) i was told they don't usually rent the larger rooms for less than a week, but since we were previous guest they would make an exception.they stated they didn't want us to go anywhere else.it was very inexpensive @94.00 a night.this room had 2 beds and a pull out sofa with a kitchen.it was very clean and we will definitely be back for years to come!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been coming to this Hotel since 1984. The original owner and the existing owners have always been friends to me and make this stay like visiting family. The hotel rooms have always been clean. Right across the road from the beach and some rooms have an oceanview from the balcony. 3 floors in the back and you can see the ocean from the third floor balcony. 2 floors up front. Very affordable rates on the holidays where it can become expensive at the beachfront hotels. Great place to stay if you want to save some cash but still have great access to the ocean. Right down the road from the Sea Captain's Seafood Restaurant (5 star food). I don't eat seafood myself but enjoy the Captain's ribeye. 2 block walking distance so you don't even have to move your car. Steak House right next door also. Excellent food. Great plus that nobody else mentioned is the freedom from the cruise traffic which usually backs up to 21st Ave North. 28th Ave location that makes it easier to get back to your room without fighting traffic. Pool is clean and fenced in for privacy. The owners make it a great place to stay. Very nice in person and over the phone. You will be like family here.

On a recent trip I just needed a basic room and it was a Saturday; the cheapest on the strip was $150 which was outside my budget. I knew Ocean Aire had been around for about 50 years so I stopped in and the lady was so charming and sweet; she rented me a basic small room for $89. She told me it was no frills, that no partying was allowed, etc but if when I went to my room I wasn't happy come back down and she'd find me another room or refund my money. Of course the room was just fine; clean with icy cold a/c! I was very pleased; I had a view of the ocean across the street. The room was clean with tv, mini fridge, a/c unit, clean bathroom with extra toilet paper, soap and towels already provided. On the balcony are 2 chairs per room with an ashtray, potted plants and on either side of the shared balcony are 2 small tables and chairs for dining outside. I was very pleased; it is quaint and for the money, you cannot beat it. I felt very safe travelling alone; the guests were families and couples and it was very quiet there at nght. Great value! If you want clean, quaint, nice owners and value, do not hesitate!

We have always enjoyed the peace and serenity of this motel. This is a wonderful place for family and friends to enjoy their vacations. It is extremely clean and the owners are some of the nicest people that I've ever met.

We have stayed at this motel for a number of years. The motel is located across from the beach, with a great view. It is family owned and operated, exceptionally clean, and a great value for a family vacation in Myrtle Beach. If holds the charm of a circa 1950's motel - a breed that is rapidly disappearing in M.B.

My family has been going to this motel for more than 40 years. A place where we feel at home. Awesome, friendly owners. Not fancy but clean and well maintained. Great location to beach and other ammenities. If you aren't looking for fancy, I would definitely recommend the Oceanaire.

My whole family go's every year to this motel. We have been doing there for about 10 years now. We love this motel. We feel at home when we go there, plus is not a place that you know your going to hate. Everyone that stays there besides the owners are friendly also. This is a really good place, and really good on prices.

The Oceanaire is a very nice, family affordable hotel in Myrtle Beach. We have stayed there for about 4 years and my husband's family stayed there for many years before that. It is family run and owned, the owners are soo nice, it is a very clean motel. Would recommend to others!
