Horrible Experience with this Place!

1. The room smelled disgusting when we arrived. An odor mixture of feet, vomit, spoiled food and a dead animal. It was difficult to distinguish what it was. My husband and I finally figured out that it was the comforter, and a previous tenant had either thrown up or spilled food on it which subsequently spoiled, and it was never washed.
2. We were told this was a dog friendly hotel and that it was fine for us to bring our 2 dogs. They had told us our room was completely private and did not share any walls. Well, it's actually located smack dab in the middle of everyone else staying there. The walls are PAPER THIN, and you can hear everything. We got a complaint from our next door neighbors who never seemed to leave their room, that our dog barked non-stop while we were at dinner the 1st night. An exaggeration, our dog would never bark non-stop, but he probably did bark occasionally if they were hanging out outside our window talking.
The "carpenter" then told us we should stay with our dogs. We told him we're here for the festival, there's no way we can possibly do that, and this is their fault for putting us in this situation, not ours. Everything else in town was booked, otherwise we would have stayed elsewhere.
3. My husband and I were just talking to each other in the room past midnight, in normal voices, not being loud at all, no music playing, no dog barking, and the neighbors pounded on our wall. Walls are too thin for living conditions.
4. The shower door fell down as I was getting out and almost hit me on the head and killed me.
5. The heater pilot went out and it was completely freezing the 1st night.
6. If you stay for more than one night, they don't clean your room for you or give you fresh towels. For $90 + a night, that's a huge rip off.
7. The carpenter called us from his cell phone after we'd left and checked out and accused me of scratching his car. This is absolutely ridiculous. I would never do such a thing, and even if I wanted to I would have no idea which car is even his. The hotel was booked, there were about 20 + cars parked, I have no idea what he's talking about. Seems they can't handle complaints, so they try to turn it around on the customer. If you have any complaints, expect to be retaliated against.
