Long Leaf Lodge, Anniston

Have stayed at this location numerous time. The staff has always made sure our stay was what we expected. Rooms are renovated with hardwood floors.Air conditioners are new with in-.room control. Pool is very modern and well kept.The food has always been as fresh as if it just come from the oven. Always plenty of ice and snacks. All this without going to Tn or NC Mountains! We'll be back soon! Try it, you'll like it---You can leave your wallet at home compared to other tourist places.

Me, my husband, and our little dog stayed here for a week. Great place, it was very peaceful and nice driving through the beautiful Fort McClellan grounds. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Good location. Here are some tips on finding it: Coming north on Hwy. 21 from Oxford - turn right on Sumerall Gate Rd. (right before Lowe's), go a few miles (you'll pass a church and a number of buildings) and the hotel will be on your right. Coming south on Hwy. 21 from Jacksonville - turn left on Baltzell Gate Rd. Follow signs to the Traffic Circle, go right and just past the Fire Dept. turn right towards Sumerall Gate Rd. (follow signs). Go left on Sumerall Gate Rd. and the hotel will be directly on your right.

I love the location. It's quite, well kept and very affordable. The pool was a nice addition. No where else in Anniston can you find a better motel. This is our second visit and most likely will not be our last. You won't find billboards for this place but don't be fooled by that. If you're looking for a quite place to walk and enjoy the sounds of crickets at night, this is it! Take Sumerall Gate Road which leads you to the Motel. Not far from a great sea food restauant, Top O' the River. Highly recommended. We Love Alabama.
