Rainbow Court Family Motel, Myrtle Beach

My daughter arrived a day after her friend checked in. When she asked for a parking pass she was told it was ok to park. The same person, a front desk clerk, had her car towed. DO NOT STAY AT THIS RAT HOLE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Family friendly motel, staff was great. Rooms were only cleaned if we asked, but the gentelman would check every day to see if we needed anything. We stayed for a week. Home type feeling. Rooms are outdated, mattresses could use an update too. Room was clean, no bugs!! if you need something the front desk people are very helpful & friendly. Close to the beach, pool was always clean. Whoever complained below about paint must be a disgruntled staff member. Seriously Wet paint! Budget Inn across the street had police there almost every day, but that just gave us some extra entertainment. Looked like there were several Rainbow Court Buildings, but only the one on the corner of 5th Ave N and Ocean Blvd seemed to be open for reservations. Close to the main activity / shopping boardwalk area, and amusement park. Nice Place for the price, if you can get past the needed updates.

I,ve always enjoyed my stays at the rainbow. The owner is always nice and welcoming. Yes it is cheap but I,ve always felt safe there. Close to all the spots on the Blvd. Some of the rooms are small but if your alone or one couple its fine I,ll always go back. Donna andrews

Its a shame that this motel is like it is as it has a good location and the price is ok, for what you get. Staff was rude but we tried to overlook it. Our room smelled of paint, which could have been aired out prior to our arrival. Oh well. The real kicker was the drug business that was going on there by staff, which were not discreet at all. Lots of traffic coming in and out of the place. Staff made up nervous to be there, smell of alcohol constantly. The place has potential if they could clean up the staff.

i happen to like the rainbow court, yea it may not be the nicest motel in myrtle beach but the people are friendly and it is obviously for the younger scene. i always enjoy my stay. plus there are no bugs. and thats always a plus. and the party is always goin there.

This place needs to be shut down. I went there this past summer. The rooms that we booked had just been painted and we were not warned, thus messing up several clothing items. The office staff had a nasty attitude. We attempted to move to a different location and called in the manager, he was no help. This place is infested with roaches, bed bugs and other unwanted creatures that you do not wish to sleep with. Please Do not waste your Money

I loved it me n my friend stayed for beach week the staff was very welcoming. id recommend this to anyone that is lookin to have a safe but fun time for cheap.

I am 22 yrs old and me and my girlfriends were on springbreak looking for a nice clean room at a descent price. We ran across the Rainbow Court Family Resort as we were walking and noticed the sign said everyone welcome so we gave it a shot. the minute we got to the front desk we were treated like they wanted us there. We remember the front desk lady Ms. Mary bc she was super helpful and friendly the moment we arrived. Our room was super clean and the layout of the motel was super cool. they have a huge pool area in back with plenty of privacy, a place to cook out, and they have music playing for you. all in all it is a great place to stay, an affordable price, and super friendly staff.

From the first moment we arrived at the Rainbow Court it was different.You check in through a window,but the lady was extremely nice.We ask to look at our room first and it was very clean, cool and smelled good.We then went and look at the pools and around the property.We were very pleased.We have traveled around the country and we always try to stay at motels. There not many left! Everything has gone high rise.While at the pool we notice they have Irish students staying with them for the summer.They do get out of control but we notice that the front office got on them asap and they were thrown out of the motel. People should judge for themselves and not let other people judge for them.What are you people looking for clean rooms,great rate,great staff or do you want the Hilton!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
