Crepe Myrtle Inn, Myrtle Beach

Finest establishment in South Carolina. Love the smell of curry in the morning and free, yes FREE, camel rides every afternoon.

My first and only stay at the Crepe Myrtle hotel is one that I will never forget, and not because of it's welcoming atmosphere. My best friend and I stayed at the Crepe Myrtle hotel for two nights, we got to our initial room,and it was about the size of a jail cell,with one SINGLE bed, that had a hole in the bed-spread about the size of a watermelon, and on top of that there was no air-conditioning. We went back downstairs and asked for our money back,but they have a no refund policy(it was clear why). The owner then gave us the keys to a second room,this time the air-conditioner worked, but we had to call the office to turn it on, and every time we left the room they shut it off. The owners live downstairs from the rooms, and the smell of their cooking and incense wafts up into the rooms, and after about 30 min. it will make you sick. On top of that,one of the beds had no sheets, and their were stains on the walls that could be determined to be someone's "love juice". My friend and I seriously had a talk about sleeping on the beach, but just decided to ask them to change the sheets. It was the uncleanliness place I have ever been,and the only good thing about it is its location to the pavilion,and the beach.Do not stay here, if you don't want heppatitis!

I like the location and people work there... I being going crepe myrtle since I was little kid and go with my parents. People at crepe myrtle knows me and my parents our. they take good care of us and friends. I agree this please need some help rebuild. I have seen people who stay there do not respect other people property. I had my honeymood at crepe myrtle inn in room number 306 which is right above office. We like and enjoy stay there

The only way I would recommend this hotel to anyone is if they were too drunk to notice the smell and the rats that have made the Crepe Myrtle their permanent residence. Not only did the smell hit us like a ton of bricks upon our arrival, all of the sheets were flipped inside out rather than replaced. It was a good thing we were at the beach and were able to use the beach showers because there was no way we were going to step foot in the tub. Good luck using the restroom. I resorted to steeling toilet paper from a local restaurant because our friends at the Crepe forgot that we might need some. The Crepe Myrtle was the only hotel surrounded by barbed wire and the only hotel welcoming homeless bums and drag queens to the parking lot. If you do find yourself staying at the Crepe Myrtle, take plenty of booze and get checked for diseases when you return home.
