Bay Cities Motel, Chula Vista

I loved the friendliness of the people at check in and the rooms are cleaner than any branded motels. My job requires tavelling and have been to almost all the motels in Chula Vista and have been real disappointed with all of them. I am glad that I came across this place by chance and am a loyal customer for life..... The people know me by name and I can call and reserve a room and have not been disappointed so far........ Its an affordable with all the basics one needs and most important VERY VERY QUIET I CAN ACTUALLY GET A GOOD NIGHT SLEEP. I highly recommend this place to all travelling to the south bay..................

I was in town for a comic convention and I was searching for affordable motel rates around San Diego and all the rates were extraordinarily high. I came to the Bay Cities Motel which was pretty basic (basics all you need), but the rooms were very nice and clean and comfortable. This is a family owned business and the managers were very friendly. I had a great stay there and reccommend it to everyone. I will be coming back to this motel every year

Its a nice motel with nicely done rooms and main thing about the place is its very quiet place situated on good location having all facilities on walking distance like shopping, food etc. i liked it very much.

hi...I and my friends were on vacation in San diego and we stayed in this motel...It's the best value for each dlooar they charge...The rooms are clean..no..no..very clean, smells fresh (no typical odour),comfortable beds and sheets and has ample space and all the facilities needed along with Cleanest bathrooms you can ever find in a motel...Rooms are no less compare to ANY BRANDED MOTEL rooms and the amazing thing is daily rates of room are so less...IT's CHEAP..really CHEAP and above all the people at the front desk are very friendly and courteous....It was a great stay and we recommand this to everyone travelling to CHULA VISTA...JUST GO and EXPERIENCE....it's for REAL...

The Bay Cities Motel is "Comfortable, Spacious and Clean". Cottage has a very "private atmosphere feel". Family owned and operated. The owners are very "curtious and helpful". We are very pleased and had a wonderful experience with our stay at Bay Cities Motel and please "don't hesitate to book".

I spent a week recently at this motel and thoroughly enjoyed my stay, very quiet and as some of the other reviewers have already said, very clean too, perfect location within a half mile of the freeway and the downtown Chula Vista area might make sense if you want to avoid the high prices for downtown hotels and save some money by staying here, downtown SD is only 15 minutes away and the TJ border is less than 5 miles... hope this helps

Recently stayed 1 night-best rate in town-no microwave/telephone/coffee maker... but has an AC/TV w/Remote. Local channels-fine with me. Very clean-the basics is really all you need. Only thing I'd suggest to improve is the water pressure in the shower.. The cottage idea is great... feels real private. Paint/Decor inside is quaint. I will definitely revisit... very quiet, loved it... nice people... no pressure, no noise, no people walking past your door.... quite impressed and it was truly a very nice stay! Glad I found it!

The motel looks old from the outside but the rooms are affordable very clean and the whole place is very very quiet. The weekend I stayed there looked like they were sold out parking lot was flooded with cars but NO NOISE!!! UNBELIEVABLE.... WILL ALWAYS ALWAYS GO BACK. COTTAGES A MUST SEE... BEAUTIFULLY DONE...CLOSE TO THE FREEWAY. Have become a loyal customer now. Lady at the fronk desk is always courteous and very professional

My career required me to travel throughout California. I recently was offered a Technician position at the local power plant. Thier Rate, Cleanliness, Professional Courtesy, and Most of all Safety is Rated 5 Star. I've never seen any local police respond. I would recommend this motel to anyone who seeks the best.
