What was I thinking...
I made reservation for three rooms for three nights - all double beds, first visit to Tucson. Requested non-smoking rooms due to our health, asthma. Checked in then went to first room to find 2 twin beds along with other tenats (Three Roaches), second room had a one king size bed with two ashtrays, three room had one double size bed with no mattress in couch. We (Three Families) all drove over eight hours from Northern Arizona to attend the New Years Pow Wow. It took longer due to the closure of the Interstate I17 due to heavy snow. After finding the roaches one family went to find another Hotel, inform John and he told us that he will only charge us for the two rooms in the morning. We also requested for additional blankets ony to recieve sheets and the heater was blowing out the odor from either a cigar and/or cigarettes. Our other family was moved to another room, where the windows couldn't be locked from the inside. Instead of being credited back two rooms on the first night I was charged the full three rooms, according to John "They used the restroom and the towels, and I had potential guest's that I had to turn back - because I was holding the rooms for you, it's only fair" he calms. Then why was the eastern complex all emply, 2 stores? Thought about sharing my experience with you... oh we canceled the next two nights and it was worth paying additional $100.00 per night at a different hotel.
