Sands Motel, San Angelo

I have seen the review before visiting the motel. I was kind of hasitating but at the same time I didn't wanted to spend a lot so thought to try this one. I have found that the service was really good as opposed to the reviews and I figured that the management is changed since last few months. Long story short.... I would recommand this motel if you are concerned about the value.

I was looking for value for money and this motel turned out to be a best deal for me. I was surprised to see the previous reviews because I have a different opinions. Service was good. Value is less in compare to other same sized rooms in the town. Location is closer to the malls, rodeo, banks etc. Room was considerably clean. Overall all value for money. I would recommend vising this motel.

pass this one on by, please....big gap under door let insects in, cockroaches in room, chiggers or something in bedsheets, bathroom somewhat dirty, sticky mess on carpet, crackheads next door bothering me, trying to sell me stuff....prostitutes knocked on my door one night looking for johns....other people knocked on my door and called my room bothering me.....management meted out 6/$1 rolls of toilet paper from dollar general if you walked to the office and asked for one ( and you had to almost daily, they run out quick) I didn't care for that kind of Hindu humiliation and just resorted to using my own....I understand we're in a recession, but I cannot see being treated this way....no excuse for it.

it didnt have a telephone in the room, had a funny odor to it. bed was poorly made and overall cleaniness was horrible!!
