Inn On Barons Creek, Fredericksburg

My sis and I went to have a Sunday afternoon massage. Our experiience was just wonderful. I would love to have a massage every month if I could afford it. It is such a luxury and so relaxing. If you travel to Fredericksburg for any reason, try to include this spa in your plans.

We had reservations here, just for the night. We show up, with a bird, not thinking he would be considered a pet. The receptionist was incredibly rude. We would have understood a simple "We can't allow birds" but her attitude was unacceptable. Hopefully, the rest of the staff was more considerate.

The hotel is ok, but the management is totally unresponsive to legitimate complains. We stayed 3 nights and had other gueststalking and laughing loudly, slamming doos, kids running up and down the halls until 3:30am on 2 of those nights. It was awful. I called the front desk and was told , "it is a wedding party"! Who cares? I paid good money for a room and did not get any rest,,,then had to drive 7 hours home. I am so unahppy. I WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN. Too bad!

My wife & I stayed here for a relaxing weekend in Fredericksburg, and we were not disappointed. Very new, fresh, modern facility with reasonable rates - far superior to most of the other regional hotels. Highly recommend.

This place was great! It was very clean, and comfortable, a true delight. The breakfast was terrific. It was just as good as a "luxury brand" hotel. They even had Bath and Body Works soap and shampoo. It was perfect.

The Staff went above and beyond, the rooms were well appointed, comfortable and well decorated. the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast had a good variety and was well prepaired. We stayed for our Anniversary after checking out of another area hotel.... and are so glad we found this hotel. It compaired very favorably with 5 star Holtels we have stayed with in the past. Would definitly stay again and have recomended this hotel to others!

We love Fredericksburg, but had difficulty finding a place that suited us with a 9 year old, 1 early riser and 2 late sleepers. The Inn On Barrons creek fit the bill and more. There is an area for sitting and watching tv separate from the bedroom. (TV's in the bedroom too for those who0 can;t agree on waht to watch).It's spacious, very clean, and well-designed. All non smoking rooms. The staff are helpful and polite. The setting is a lovely spot on Barron's Creek. Guests can wander the grounds, walk by the creek - we haven't used the pool (we've been in winter) or spa but it looks inviting. The Inn is located within walking distance of Main Street - the prime shopping and dining areas and within a short drive to a good grocery store. There's a fridge in the room and a coffee maker. They serve breakfast downstairs - pastries and such and usually something cooked like eggs or pancakes and sausage. It's the kind of place I look forward to returning to at the end of a busy day of hiking or shopping. I really wouldn't stay anywhere else. And it's reasonably priced for the area.

All of the rooms are suites which gives you lots of room!!! Some of the larger ones have a full kitchen and jacuzzi tub - thou the outside pool is salt water and has the jacuzzi there as well. There is also a spa on the premises. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. My husband is in a wheelchair and everything works very well for him. We have been here I believe 5 times now with another trip coming soon - can't wait
