The staff is extremely rude, they seem to be pretty stereo typical towards younger men (they think all young men are trouble makers) The manager or whoever this one guy is, he wouldn't even tell me his name and he wouldn't give a customer service number to complain about him... he was un educated, no respect for the customer what so ever, and he was always in your business.. very nosy. He looked like he was the hotels watch dog.. I will never ever go back to them, even if I was given a free room. He charged my credit card for damages and I can swear there was nothing done to him room and in fact we probably gave it back in better condition than we received it in... the beds were already slept in, not many towels given and no iron/hairdryers in the room. I called my credit card company and disputed the charge and thank god I got my money back. PATHETIC PATHETIC PATHETIC!! please save your money! and give it to someone who deserves it.
Nothing new here to report. We stayed here one night it was one of the last rooms they had. The very next morning we were off to stay at one of the great Condo's on the beach. The Condo's offer more bang for the buck I assure you. Compared to this run down place.
The staff are a bunch of people form another country. They don't speak english and many guest complained about bad service at the desk and a pool that was dirty. The staff barked back at the guest. Some woman with red hair acted like a nut. Screaming back at the guest for having 7 people in the run. I guess she counts them by going in the room when you sleep. A small room for 180.00 a night with 300 sq ft compared to a 210 a night with over 1000 sq ft priceless.
Pier Park was great we stayed very near to the activitives there. This motel is miles away from all the fun. So if you like lots of noise, rowdy people, drunks peeing in the stairwell and a staff that doesn't give you extra towles. By all means stay here. You will love the weak coffee they make.
Clean, adequate kitchen and utensils, good a/c, great balcony with awesome view. Suggest sheer curtain for walkway window. Suggest recliner chairs in living room vs. couch. Would arrange kitchen area towards ocean view. Tv's are small. Thought $20 a day to rent beach chairs high. Overall good value.
My daughter and I stayed while we were waiting for some work to be done to our home, and stayed here. The bed was so comfortable and the room was very clean. Staff was exteremly friendly. Will definitly like to stay again and will refer to our friends and family.
The hotel was quiet the entire time we were there - in the middle of spring break! My boyfriend and I didn't have reservations anywhere and just happened to stop here because they had vacancies - I am happy we did! The staff were all really nice. The room was clean, the kitchen is great, and the balcony is wonderful to sit on at night. The pool was nice too - never crowded. I enjoyed everything except that they didn't keep enough towels in the room. I'd definitely refer them to others who are going to PCB.
The staff was not friendly whatsoever. The owner waits in the foyer from 7pm to 4am to act as a watchdog, making sure no one acts up. I felt like I was being babsat the entire time. Except the babysitters cleaned the bathroom once, never changed the bedding, and rarely refreshed the towels or toiletries. As a patron I had the feeling that the staff was more concerned with doing the bare minimum rathe than providing a service.
Aside from the negatives, the pool is heated, the beach is close and the view is nice. However, these few nice things are overshadowed by the staff's lack of care for the needs of their customers.
The hotel was nice. The only problem I had was the carpet was vacuumed, it was really dirty. Had to walk on floor with shoes on all the time or the bottom of feet would be black. Beds were a little hard and TV's too small for the room, there is 2 of them. Great having a full kitchen and three beds. Pool was very clean and being heated was great. Staff not very knowledgeable on what restaurants were still open in the area and what area attractions are there. They were very friendly though. Also charge for ice.
I found the motel to be clean, neat, with comfortable beds, linens were spotless, comfortable in all ways. Our accomodations had two rooms, both bedrooms had tvs. The one room has a kitchen with a full size refrigerator. I used the oven and it worked just fine. The rooms were spacious and plenty of room to put luggage and clothes. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Remember to take your own papertowels, salt/pepper, seasonings, sugar and coffee if needed. There was a coffee pot in the room. I am looking forward to going back some day. The ice machine is located on the 2nd floor and there is a small charge for ice. I recommend this motel. The prices were most reasonable.
We had a great room, super kitchen and balcony. There was very friendly service, specialy a Lady from Czechia at the front desk.
And we loved the beautiful pool and the sea.
The elevators could have been better.
We stayed during spring break and had a fantastic time. I noticed that the complaints were mostly from guest that had caused damage to the motel, so of course, they are going to complain about having to pay for being irresponsible. Oh well, our room was clean, pool was heated and the owner tried to keep us safe. We will be back next year if financial allows.
