Spring Breakers beware - this resort will not return any damage deposits, their night security guard is on a power trip and will randomly kick out anyone when he feels the need too. STAY AWAY FROM HERE!!!!
The staff is very undertrained. This is a very non frills place. They are in it for the money. You can rent somewhere else for less, and have alot more frills. The manager is told of the complaints, however only appears to care about his pay check.
The security is a joke. Dont even go there. Watch your purses and jewelry.
We had points that were about to expire and with our time frame and needed location for travel were told that this resort was all that was available. I am really leery now after reading these reviews. We too feel that this will be very low end as far as TimeShare propeerty goes and I will be sure to post a follow up after our stay there.
What I disliked was everything!!!!!!!!!! They do not have non-smoking rooms, they used a machine that was a big waste of time! It smelled of stale cigarette smoke and also smelled musty. There was so much furniture 2 people couldn't pass each other without bumping into each other! The queen size bed had a king size bedspread and practically covered the whole room that we kept tripping on. The floors were filthy - I never walked barefoot! Keep it for the spring breakers - dirt and clutter, and smell doesn't bother them!!!!!
After all the bad reviews I have read I was a bit leary about staying at this place. When we got there I was really surprised. The room was small, but very clean and looked like it was recently updated. The bed linens and bath towels ( which were provided daily along with toilet paper and trash bags) were also very clean and looked almost new. The staff was friendly and courteous. We were just a few steps from the ocean. The only complaint I have is that there is no elevator. We had to haul all of our stuff up 4 flights of steps. We stayed in room 308 on the third floor. It was also close to Wal-Mart and a lot of good restaurants. I would stay there again.
Lets start with the likes...It was a great location to all activites & right on the beach. We are RCI members and this was a very low-scale resort. We were traveling with a child and this would not be my recommendation for children. The resort is a converted hotel and the rooms are very small. The three of us were stepping on each other to get around things. The rooms are a bit dingy and old. Teh kitchen is very small but has all the things needed for you to cook. We had this place for the week but checked out early adn went to a nicer resort on the beach. The staff was somewhat helpful. When calling the resort to ask about late check in the desk person said it would take 2 hours to get there from Destin. It only an hour. Again back to the rooms, the showers were quite old and the one in the bedroom leaked above the showerhead when using the shower. The whole place needs to be renovated. The room was not cleaned thoroughly, as there was make-up and a personal "novelty" item left in the room from the previous occupant. If you are looking for low cost and no frills then this is the place for you. If you need a little more comfort and room, then I suggest you look elsewhere!
This place is awful. The staff is very rude and unprofessional. They bill you for charges after you have already left the resort and after one of their "highly skilled" (not) staff check your room. Watch out for fridge charges. (They get creative and make things up for extra money to charge). I highly suggest finding somewhere else to stay in Panama, there is an endless amount of other resorts to stay at which you could call suitable.
Gorgeous pristine white sandy beach. One of the finest beaches in the country. The resort is right on the beach and the water about 20 steps from our door. The resort was recently remodeled, very clean and nice. The personnel couldn't have been more accommodating. For easy access, easy parking, and reasonable rates, I haven't found anything I liked better for a long time. This is not Hilton, but a great, and less expensive alternative.
