Chateau Orleans, New Orleans

Definitely was a pleasant place to stay! My room view was great and so was the breakfast! If any of u wanna save money on it tho I'd suggest using SweetHotelDeals. Net They have some really good prices on there!!

I cannot recommend this place enough. It is two blocks from Bourbon. Paul and Robert go out of their way to treat you like royalty. After one stay you become family. The courtyard is beautiful.

I stayed here for years before purchasing 2 weeks of timeshares-And yes it could use a little updating in some areas,but hey did you really come to N.O. for peace & quiet & a fancy new condo or to enjoy the uniqueness of this city & the amazing spirit & character of its citizens? I never tire of visiting here. Cute decor, tucked into the back of a lot the place twinkled with lights hidden in ivy and you could hear the steal guitar strumming. A bunch of us went there for dinner, none of us had been there before. The food was slow to come out, I didn't mind since we weren't in a rush and didn't have other plans that night, although some in our party grumbled. My husband and I shared the gator bites, I loved them and he likened the texture to calamari. I had jambalaya for the first time and really like it! He had the eggplant piquant (?) it was awesome! We had sweet watermelon wine and couldn't stop with one. Dessert was terrific - bread pudding & key lime tart! I'd definitely go there again.

Great location, great value - I am an owner and have been coming here since I was a kid with my family. The staff really get to know you and treat you like family. They do whatever is in their power to improve your trip. GREAT PLACE!!!

me and my family go to the essance and bayou every year and we always stay here everybody is so friendly and helpful been staying here for 4 years now when we come for the events and I love it

We went during Mardi Gras and so that alone will tell you, keeping it clean with the guests running in and out can be a chore. Its a great, cute,cozy and comfy place ! Old School Apartment living is what I called it ! We loved it !

We came from Hawaii for the Sugarbowl. I can't say how hard it was to try and find a decent place without being able to talk to people who have been there. Sometimes you read these reviews and you especially wonder about the complaints -- are they really big issues? Or are people just complaining for the heck of it? I can't say enough about how wonderful the Chateau Orleans was. We stayed in the 1 bedroom the first night and then moved over when our friends came to the 2 bedroom suite. It was awesome! Noisy? I think not. We stayed with 4 of us 20-somethings and an older couple, and none of us were disturbed by noise. Because this place is tucked away about 2 blocks away from Bourbon Street, what you hear is merely just some talking on the street as partiers walk back to their apartments. No loud partying whatsoever. That's what the previous reviews scared us about, but whatever. We stayed in the unit closest to the street, and the noise was so super faint it didn't bother us. The parking was super convenient, and it was so close to everything - Bourbon St, Canal St, even the Superdome wasn't but a 10 minute walk away. The place was awesome. The only thing we sort of "sighed" at, although it was so cute, was the historic French staircase, which spiraled down from the 2 bedrooms upstairs, because it was narrow and hard to carry our heavy bags up. Other than that, it was fantastic and we definitely got our money's worth. 6 of us stayed there comfortably using the sofa bed and couch, but we could have easily had many guests over. It's close to all the restaurants, shops, and bars, and it's secured with a coded lock so you feel safe at night. They even have a courtesy washer & dryer on-site so we could wash our clothes. The ambience was great, everything was clean, and it was pretty cozy. It was just great and we will recommend it to everyone!!

The management go out of their way to make sure that you are comfortable. Very easy to get to and very reasonably priced for the French Quarter. Keep up the GREAT customer service!!!!

Two blocks from Bourbon and two blocks from Canal. Friendly staff that knows the Quarter/N.O.. The manager throws parties for guests and there are donuts/coffee and Bloody Marys on the weekends.
