Astro Inn, Houston

we were told that the astro inn in houston texas was a "really nice hotel" at cheap prices which we were looking for! we got on the number 21 bus and the driver told us when to get off, as we were gettin off the bus he told the three of us (all girls) to stick together as we were in a really rough neighbour hood, the security man getting on to the bus also told us the same, we ran across the road to the hotel to be greeted by two smack heads, this is when we decided that we were gonna get the first taxi outta there! we phoned for a taxi and stood crapping ourselves for the next 15 minutes waiting for our get away car to turn up! whilst waiting we spotted a car circling the hotel watching us then we had barry turn up from nowhere asking all sorts of questions! the get away car turned up and we jumped in but not before getting out the camera and taking some photos to remind us how bad the hotel was! we ended up spending $160 for a room at the best western 15 mins down the road and it was the best $160 we had spent, yeah the astro inn is cheap but if u care for your life and your belongings then spend that little more and get a nice hotel in a nice area..............
