Our Stay at the Turtle Run Inn, NSB
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/17/11
Check-in went well, room was clean, but tile floor had a very bad paint job, and looked dirty. The view from room was awesome, as long as you could see past the ugly landscape. Lucky it was August, because we had no hot water for the entire stay, manager was nowhere to be found after we paid at check-in. The AC unit is too small for the room and ran continuously and the room never cooled off. Check-out is too early, at 10AM, most places are 11AM; this early check-out makes it tough to do anything but pack. The place has potential, but it needs a lot of improvements. The price is not that attractive, for a few more dollars, we could have stayed at the Beach Club, which has much bigger and nicer rooms, with better facilities. One last thing, Turtle Run does not have enough parking, there are just enough space for one per room, but the manager parks in one of the spots?

Not sure what all the hype is about.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/26/11
We found this place online and the reviews seemed to all be favorable. This is why we were so disappointed when we checked in. Our room was nothing like the one pictured on the website. It had tile floors that had been painted over and the paint was chipping. The air conditioner was a small window unit. We were told not to change the speed of the fan or it would make noise. The curtains were so thin and narrow that we had to hang a blanket over them to keep the morning light out. On the plus side the beds were comfortable. This place has a lot of potential and the staff was nice, but it's not 5 star at all.

the hosts are absolutely amazing. 5 stars service. The stay was confortable and the hosts are on site and close by in case you need anything, but they are not hovering around. It´s a great place to see sunrises!

Will stay there again
By Paula, 6/27/11
This is a nice, comfortable, safe and affordable place to stay right on the beach. It is has new management who promises an even better place to stay in the future. They were very friendly and went out their way to make our stay a pleasant one. I will most certainly stay there when in the area again. I wish them the best of luck and look forward to staying there in the future.

Old Style Florida
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/18/10
My Sister and I went to the beach for the weekend and stumbled upon this quaint little inn. It is small, five rooms, however it is clean and the managment is very accomodating. The rates are very reasonable, the manager works at the resturant down the street so you have to call her, however as a frequent guest I feel quite comforatable there. You have a clean room, a patio where you can see the sun rise over the Atlantic before anyone else walks on the beach. Great getaway!!! The Price's

Old School Treasure... Nice Treat
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/2/10
Beautiful little get away with a step back into the past. We stayed in room #2 which is the only room on the property with one queen size bed, but also has a daybed. The other 4 rooms all have two queen beds. Very clean, very comfortable, and has all the character of a beachside get away, but much cheaper then the alternatives. If you're looking for a clean, no frills destination to rest your head and enjoy NSB; this place is our choice. No dresser/drawers, but a large closet. No hair dryer or iron, but the water is super hot for showers, the ac is very cold, and the beds are so comfortable. No pool, but who needs one on the beach. The rooms have dorm sized refridgerators and a microwave which have enough room to hold your drinks, fruits, or whatever you need to keep cold. Can't praise enough. My wife and I had a lot of fun with our 2 year old son. If I had to give any negative, its location is on the driving part of NSB, but being right next to the lifeguard station makes up for it and is a benefit for any young swimmers.

Shuttle Launch Viewing
By Louis, 4/11/10
While searching for a place to stay so the kids could see one of the last Space Shuttle launches we found the Turtle Run Inn. Built probably in the early 60's it has maintained it's charm. Tile floors with colorful tile bathroom reminded me of the early trips along the Dixie Highway or Route 66. You almost could see the fastback Corvettes and the Vista Cruisers in the parking lot. 50 paces from the beautiful beaches and the patio doors in each of the rooms allowed a perfect view of the Florida sunrises. Close enough to the action to join in but just far enough away the "action" is not a disturbance. If you are looking for the run of the mill room? Turtle Run is not that place. With only 5 units the staff keeps the place clean and well served. Come prepared to hang your clothes since drawer space is non existant. The closet is plenty large enough to accomodate your wardrobe. The room I had was unit #3 with two large marble top tables, 2 full size beds, large Sony TV, coffee maker and dorm sized refrigerator. This vintage treasure is clean and right down to the Coca Cola bottle opener still attached to the wall will fit all your needs. All it is missing is the neon lights on the outside and a 1957 Nomad station wagon being unloaded by Ward and June Cleaver.

We loved our stay at the Turtle Run inn!
By Kate supporter, 4/4/10
We stayed for one week and didn't want to leave. The Turtle Run Inn is an older place but it is well maintained. We had a nice room, breathtaking ocean view, beach patrol next door, life guard tower next door, walking distance to shops, and restaurants. The manager, Robin, was nice and took great care of us and our room. We took our dog and we liked that. We loved our stay and can't wait to go back!!
