Sea Shell Inn Motel, Corpus Christi

after reading all reviews,i stayed at sea shell inn.I never had any complaint,whole family enjoyed.Watch the 4th of july fireworks from the lobby.Location is excellent(cannot find anywere in corpus christi)owner pk was very nice.I dont care what what other review says about them but they are doing good job.One thing for sure it is impossible for them to keep everybody happy. pk see you again.

Rooms were extremely dirty!! Service was rude and unhelpful!! I wouldn't suggest anyone to go to this hotel!!

We went for a familly trip and came across this here motel. My brother is a pest control for many years. Told us not to take anything in rooms. He went up to rooms and he said there is alot of bed bugs. so this is not a good place for stay. Beware Of BUGS,BUGS, BUGS,BUGS

Owners are nice, but on 3/27/09 my brother and his wife stayed in one room and we stayed in another. My brother called on my cell phone and told me to get up and turn the lights on. He said my sister-in-law felt something in her ear and when the got up and turned the lights on there was bed bugs all over. We also checked our bed and also found a couple. We will never stay there again!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was room 227 and 228..

I'm from Canada and found Corpus Christie on a business trip what great place, so we returned on a holiday and stayed at the seashell inn several times, everything was great and then new owners had taken over we certainly seen things deteriorate from well kept clean to filthy and moldy, ready to please to rude and broken promises. The last stay we were there for a month the pool was not available the whole time, we were asked to leave 2 days early so renos could be done, we had to pack and unpack and later found our that our room was rented out to some spring breakers, plus if we would have stayed I'm told we would have saved on taxes? so it would have cost us less to stay the extra time!! I feel that we were cheated to say the least. I have nothing nice to say but I'll say this I will never stay there again and will inform as many people as I can.

When I stayed at this hotel, I checked out immedialtey and chose to sleep in my vehicle....there were brown spots on the bed spread, rust on the refigerator, roaches crawling out of the AC....I would not even let my dog sleep here...someone definitley needs to do something to get these people to clean and manage their hotel or shut it down all together....you can catch diseases here!!!!

Maybe I am a bit spoiled - if you call wanting a clean bathroom and floor spoiled. This place was beyond awful - the rooms were so dirty that it freaked me out to touch anything - I would not let my children even touch the bedspreads. The bathroom was beyond disgusting; the tile was falling away and there were holes in the walls. The kitchenette was in a state of disrepair. In short, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone except the demolition crew. Do NOT stay here.

Eight years ago this place was great. Recently visited and greatly disappointed. Upon arrival the room was absolutely filthy. Carpets and floor were not vacuumed or mopped. Your feet turned black when walked on barefooted. The bathroom appeared to have had a heavy metal band that got out of control in it!! The toilet, tub, mirrors, and vanity were filthy. The kitchenette looked as if they patched it together. None of the coils were working and the stove was filthy (belly up roaches all over it). The microwave looked like some one cooked a burrito in it and forgot it was there! Needless to say I went straight to the manager. His only rebuttal to my findings were "what do you want me to do about it??" I SUGGESTED he call his janitorial staff to clean the rooms appropriately and immediatley. He said the cleaning staff was off till the following day. So much for great service. Instead the manager handed me cleaning supplies and a vacuum from the 1950's that didn't even work!! The stairs leading to the upper levels floors were poorly constructed. I do not recommend small children or the elderly to walk up/down stairs unaccompanied. The guardrails are plastic and unsteardy. DO NOT LEAN ON GUARDRAILS!! In a nutshell, this motel has several health code violations as well as several safety issues to address. The service is extremely unprofessional and poorly managed. I suggest to see a room first before paying!! The view is great if that is all you want though!!

Everytime My family stay at the SeaShell In we have a very nice time. The owners are awesome, they remember you and your family and make your stay worth while...There is a laundry facility, beautiful beach front pool, shuffle boarding and friendly hospitality.. That's our home away from home... The Gutierrez's

Loved it! We're from San Antonio and we've recommended this place to all of our relatives. We came and got two rooms, and they have this neat thing where you can attach two rooms with a door in the middle. Very clean. The people who run it are very nice, willing to work with us on anything. It was HOT HOT HOT the day we were there so it was nice to dip into their pool then run out on the beach. The rooms are the biggest I've seen anywhere. Great place, we are planning a family reunion there. We will definitly be back. My kids and grandkids loved it here.
