Crystal Palms Beach Resort, Treasure Island

The cleaning service is terrible. Supposedly they have it setup to where you get a "light" service everyday with a "full" service every 3 days. On day 2, we had no service and of course ran out of towels and toliet paper. Day 3, we were promised a "full" service and nothing, except a pile of towels we had placed on the floor were picked up. The condo needed vacuummed, bathrooms wiped down, etc. Guess who did it that night? ME...I had to go to the front desk to get a vacuum and spray. Then there is the amenties. The website makes it sound like 1) the beach is across the street, and 2) there is a "tropical" area for the pool and hot tub. The beach access is walking down a run-down city easement, open to the public. Once you get to the beach, the water and sand go for about 150ft. Very misleading. Then with the pool, it was place next to busiest road, Gulf Drive. Oh and did I mention the pool and hot tub close at 11AM? What about a nice soak after you return from dinner. Finally, the fitness center, its a closet, literally, with 3 machines and oh by the way it closes at 9PM.

This is a wonderful place. Top notch, modern, clean and a staff that cannot do enough for you. I would highly recommend this location !

Staff and management were very rude and unprofessional. They definitely could not work for a corporate chain!! They have no business ethics!!

Everything was perfect. We celebrated our 24th anniversary at the Beach Side Palms and it was way above what we expected. Cozy, romantic, comfortable and convenient. We had a great time and can't wait to get back. Thank you Katie and Brian. Randy and Debbie. Atlanta.

2008 will be our 4th year visting this wonderfull little place. As we travel down 75 going from our home to our away home, makes the trip pleasent and a "can't wait to get there" attiude. Katie and Brian do a amazing job at making you feel welcome each time you come back. The Scotts

My family and I were looking for the perfect location to host a beach wedding/reception. Beachside Palms was gorgeous. The rooms are cute, bright, and full of fresh air. They have everything you could ever need. The outside part has tables and chairs, grills, chairs to layout on, umbrellas, and various things for the beach. The private access is wonderful and there is a volleyball net too. Katie and Brian allowed us to transform the back area into a wonderful reception site. We had the best time and we can't wait to go back again.

The Beach Side Palms is one of the last great Florida motels directly on the beach. This motel fully embraces the beach lifestyle while providing clean comfortable rooms to relax in. There are not too many places left where you can be walking in sand just a few feet outside of your front door. For almost 10 years now my daughters and I have been staying a week in July. Our family event has grown from one room to a reunion using almost every room this year. Katie and Brian (the owners) are very accommodating and have always made us feel at home. We feel like part of the family for a week. You won't find that in a hotel or condo. We are looking forward to many more years of our family event at our beach motel.

We just spent 3 weeks in paradise. The location on Treasure Island was perfect. The beach is among the most beautiful we have ever seen. We found the livliness of our fellow vacationers and activity on Gulf Blvd to be very enjoyable and just what we needed to remind us we are part of something special. The couple who run the place, Katie and Brian are so sweet and responsive as they work to maintain a little bit of old florida in the midst of all those high-rises. We always found a newspaper delivered each morning and fresh flowers on our porch table. While, I will admit I am a person who knows that we get more of what we "focus" on and I CHOOSE to focus on "good" things, I would be hard pressed to find something negative even if I was one of "those people"!
