Suntan Terrace, Nokomis

Great location, clean tiled rooms, every kitchen utensil you could ever need. What more can you ask for in a $99.00 a night room on the beach? We enjoyed ourself so much we reserved the same room at the same time next year.

Likes Clean rooms, flat screen tv's, great price ($109.00 for remodeled ocean front room), no hidden fees, great location and a "byob" tiki bar that everyone gathers around at sunset. Dislikes Older property, not service oriented, amenties are minimal. Fun experience and worth the money. I would return, and would reccomend to others as long as things like room service, and luxury items are things you can live without.

My family and I have been going here for 18 years. We love the fact that it is very casual, and right on the beach. We are not the "5-star hotel" type of people. We love room #1- large enough for our family of 4. We have made some wonderful memories here. our Daughter was engaged here Summer of 2007. Beautiful sunsets, and we have met some great people and brought many friends here.

I have been coming here since I was 8 or 9 years old. Almost for 40 years now and I won't go anywhere else. Rates are great for the location. Most beautiful water and beach. Hope no one else discovers it! Left there today with my reservations already made for next year!

Room very small(efficiency), too small for 4 people. Pool and hottub not heated as advertised on website, both were about 68 degrees. Toilet leaked all around bottom, very gross when you are going into the bathroom barefoot. Beach was beautiful and quiet, lots of shells. The beach was the only good thing about it, too bad we didn't just bring a tent!

Loved the location. Room small but who stays in the room!! Hope we can get a vacancy while we are in Fla. this year. If we do it will be our 3rd visit.

We stayed in the efficiency. Liked having all tile floor, felt cleaner than carpet. Beautiful beach. A no frills motel with a no frills cost-good value. There wasn't really any service unless you wanted to pay extra for daily maid service. We did'nt need that. You could exchange your dirty towels for clean ones daily. The location is great, and the beach is beautiful. The room itself could have used a good cleaning, and the shower did not drain well at all. With a little TLC, the place would be great.

If your kids like to have fun at the beach then this is the place for you. When you have kids you need a place to go that is a good value for your money. Kids do not need fancy furnishings or other expensive annemities. At Suntan Terrace your kids can fish off the dock on the river, swim in the pool, play football on the beach, or just sit at the tiki bar and have lunch while watching the ocean. Have fun at Suntan Terrace.
