Classic 50's Motor Lodge

I have been staying at this place for years. It is like stepping back in time when Route 1 was the only way down the Florida coast. Place looks old from the street (it is - built in the 50's) but the rooms are clean. Decor is eclectic with the owner picking up things at garage sales. Kitchen efficientcies are large and well stocked with essentials. ACs run cold. There are always interesting - not threatening - characters inhabiting the other rooms. Beach is a 5min drive. Pleanty of shopping in the area. Pool is in good shape w/ large deck. I will always stat her when in the area
