Blarney Castle Motel, Fort Lauderdale

I loved this place! I stay in resorts all of the time for business and pleasure, but this had to be one of the best vactions ever. I was unsure about this place until I arrived. It was just like going to your favorite relatives and being taken care of. Marie is one of a kind. As soon as I got home, I started planning my next vacation to this establishment. Thank you, Marie, for a fantastic time!

We have been staying at the Blarney Castle for 32years and can not wait for our next visit. My parents stayed there and now our grandchildren are enjoying the hospitality and camaraderie of the place. It is clean, quiet and friendly we see familiar faces and new faces every year.

Travelling through to Miami before returning to Germany we found this very beautiful spot ! Pssst - please keep it as a secret... It is such a cosy and comfortable place, even the Seabreeze Blvd / A1A is a 50 m away - it is really a perfect hideaway. The room was very clean & tidy, spacious and bright and it was nicely and comfortably equipped. The inner courtyard including the pool is an ideal place for relaxing on hot afternoons. And of course: Mrs Marie O'Connell - she really knows how to offer her guests something very special ! Thank you so much for these splendid days !

The Blarney Castle Was a Very Nice Experience.To The Friendly Owner Marie,To The Other Guests.The Room Was Big And Very Clean.Nice Patio With Tables And Chairs.Good Place To Smoke My Ciigar At Night.Pool Was Clean And Warm.Beach Was 1 Block Away.Marie Even Lets You Use Her Chairs..I Never Knew This Place Was Here..Always Stayed at The Sheraton Or BBahia Cabana Which Is A Great Place to Eat.I'll Be Back As Soon As I can.The Only Negative I can Say Was That The Air Conditioner Was A Little Noisey.Otherwise It Was A great Stay

i live in california and visit my sister when i can who lives in fort lauderdale. i always stay at blarney and marie is always so very nice. she has made herself very popular with us. her motel is always very clean and cosy and she will always be as accomodating as she can be. my flights sometimes will not be in til late at night but she is always dependable, we love her visits and the comfort of her motel.

We stayed there July 4th weekend and loved it. It is a clean and cozy property that is close to everything we wanted to do. Marie the owner of the hotel is one of the nicest people you will meet. We had a great stay at the Blarnery Castle Motel and I would highly recommend this motel to anyone who wants a nice clean and quiet property that is close to everything.

I have lived in Lauderdale for 40 years. Never knew the Blarney castle existed. All the times we stayed around the corner at the Bahia cabana....what a waste of time and money. Marie was warm and friendly. Will be a regular place to stay now that we have found it. Quaint, quiet and comfortable.

Stayed there in 1969 and went back in 2009 after my Mom passed away as this was the first place we ever stayed. The staff were GREAT and will be the only place I stay when I go to Fort Lauderdale. It meant alot to me that they gave me the same room that I stayed in as a child and brought back important memories that I will never forget.

i love this place!!! my mom grew up here and my grandma owns it!!! i go there many times because i live in the keys(probly 100 times a year)!! i love to swim in her pool and walk to the beach!! the rooms feel like home!! the workers there are like family( been working there over 30 years some of them) and are sooo kind. my grandma is so kind and babysits my dog when we are away. i love you grandma thank you love your granddaughter tori

Being a native Floridian no longer living in the state, I stay at Blarney every time I go back to Ft. Lauderdale. It takes me back to the Ft. Lauderdale of my youth. Marie is fantastic! Rooms are great, clean, and big. The patio and pool are a bonus! A very relaxed atmosphere that is the Ft. Lauderdale Beach that I remember.
